I have so many insulated coffee mugs upto 16 oz. but none of them fit under my espresso machine. So I have to use regular mugs for my espresso, but I am a slow coffee drinker so it gets cold really easily. This little yeti mug was a perfect solution. I kept resisting buying this brand and purchased other knock offs that did not turn out as great, and did not keep my drink warm. However during Amazon prime day, I got a really great deal on it and I am so glad I bought it. This mug is not only a beautiful, deep orange color, but it is also very sturdy and well insulated. The magslider lid is also not as flimsy as my knock offs, it is study and cleans up really well, and also can be sealed shut properly, so it keeps the coffee warm, and also reduces the chances of spillage. Now that I work from home and do not need to take my coffee on the road, this is the perfect mug for my desk. If I wanted coffee on the go, I would probably still use my Hydroflask coffee mugs or my Fifty Fifty coffee mug as they fit my car cup holder. This mug does not fit my car cup holder as it is a little too wide. I tried to take it on the go once but had to balance it on the console, it did not spill but it would have been so great if it fitted my cup holder.

This is a great cup, and although it’s not 100% leak proof I would not expect that with lid styles like these. It does prevent big messes if accidentally tipped over but isn’t easy to tip over anyway. It feels good in the hand, looks smooth and durable and is great for any beverage you can think of. Some of my favorite features are: 1. Mag slider, its awesome because I can remove it and thoroughly clean the lid. No trapped funk! 2. The press in lid. It’s a strong seal and no awkward thread aligning issues. Not too hard to remove and easy to clean! Keeps pesky cats out of my bedside water too. 3. The lip of the cup is smooth. I like drinking from the cup as much without the lid as I do with the lid. 4. it’s a good size, not too big that I wouldn’t want to put wine or a cocktail into it, and not too small for coffee or tea. I like a lot of coffee and tea and don’t mind having to refill this more often. My pour over fits over this perfectly too.. 5. The copper color, while not bright copper fits in well with my decor, and looks classy. 6. Great insulation! I haven’t tested exactly how long things stay hot or cold but I did scald my tongue about an hour after making tea.. So take extreme caution with hot beverages!

This is my absolute favorite cup for my morning coffee! I’m usually busy in the morning getting my kids ready for school so I don’t always get to have my coffee in one sitting. I know I can come back to this cup after an hour and my coffee will still be perfectly hot! The lid and slider keeps the coffee from spilling and it’s super easy to clean. The perfect cup!

Okay let's get this out of the way. These are not leak proof... not even by a little bit. I mean the lid area is simply not sealed. If you just shake this a bit, you know, to swirl the mixture again, it will leak. If you let this fall over, it will leak all over the place. Do not get this thinking you are getting something leak proof because it is not. Having said that, it keeps my drinks cool for hours, and keeps my drinks hot for hours. It says 10oz but with a careful application of the lid, it can hold a 12 oz can just fine. I have found it to be a great improvement over my typical mug at my desk each morning. I would not, however, recommend relying on it in any capacity where it might fall over and be left to fall over. It's not going to gush out but if you don't catch it, it will empty out all over the place.

I’ve had two of these for a little over a year now, and I give 4.5 stars because when it’s used like a wine/cold drink tumbler it does a fantastic job. Wine is always cold in this thing, the mag slide makes it ridiculously easy to clean, I love that you can find replacement parts, and all in all a solid little drink cup. I take off .5 of a star because the mag side is not 100% leak proof, and unfortunately, it does a mediocre job of keeping hot drinks hot. I got these for coffee mostly because I really liked the shape and design, but it only keeps a 10oz coffee hot for MAYBE half an hour. It also has a wide base that doesn’t fit in a cup holder (probably to discourage drinking and driving- I get it). I would not recommend for slow coffee drinkers, but pretty solid for cold drinks. Maybe iced coffee is the way??? I hope Yeti makes a hot version of this cup- I really like the design. Either way- I’d recommend. It’s a solid cup!
