This Yeti Hopper Flip 8 cooler is everything it is advertised to be and more. Yeti coolers are know for well made and very functional coolers and this cooler is no exception. I use this cooler this weekend to at a youth track meet that grand son and grand daughter participated in this weekend. Track meets are littler ally and all day affair, so you gotta bring provisions. I have a RTIC re-Freezable ice pack that fits this pack well and kept our drinks, fruit and a small bag of ice cubes cold for the duration of the track meet. I was pretty impressed with the fact that my ice cubes only melted minimally after about 6 hours of us opening a closing the cooler many times. In fact my bananas and oranges partially froze and a couple of my little 8oz water bottles had some ice develop too. I guess I will have to come up with a better packing strategy for the fruit though. This cooler is a well constructed with a easy zipper, has durable fabric, it's lead resistant and will last years. I bought this for the size though. I needed something a bit smaller and more convenient than my full-sized cooler that I got tired of lugging around at such events. Great lunch box. Keeps my lunch cold all day when using a reusable ice pack. Large enough to hold all the items I take for lunch too. The strap is sturdy, the lunch box is very durable as well. Should've purchased this long ago over the others I chose for a lunch bag.

Well built, very sturdy cooler! I did think (especially for the price) it would be a little bit larger, though. But it works fine as a lunch cooler! The color is BEAUTIFUL and my lunch stays COLD, ALL DAY, which is a huge improvement from my previous cooler. The zipper takes some getting used to because it’s very difficult to open or close easily. I’m sure this is why things stay so cold and that it is totally waterproof as well. Overall, it’s a Great cooler, just very expensive so definitely “save up” and “justify the necessity” of truly needing a new cooler before purchasing. ... show more
