If you want to use this as a work lunchbag, I'd look elsewhere. ALMOST every other cooler has some like, mesh lining on the side or somewhere to place stuff like your keys or a pen or anything.. For Yeti, this means that they can charge you like $100 extra to buy a Yeti bag to place on the cooler. Also, it seems to be difficult to actually find those, so you're already going to be looking at off brand products and might as well stay in that area when looking for a cooler/lunchbox.

I love yeti products. I have several mugs and this is my first cooler. It has a TON of room and insulated well. However function wise it is less than great. they send a chapstick-looking stick to grease up the zipper which I feel doesn’t really work. The zipper is very difficult to open and shut. I would exchange this but I’m past the return date.

I compared this Yeti cooler with my Arctic Zone Titan cooler of the same size to determine which would be the better choice for my needs. I placed two frozen ice packs in the bottom of each cooler then filled each cooler to its capacity with ice. I then closed the lids, put them in the trunk of my car, in the garage, in 100-degree heat, and waited. At 24 hours, I opened each cooler to find the same amount of ice remaining in both. Neither cooler had out performed the other. I was somewhat disappointed with the Yeti, due to its cost, but elated with the Arctic Zone for the same reason. The Yeti, at $200, is 571% more money than the $35 Arctic Zone, but did not perform 571% better, or any better at all, for that matter. I do like the simple, clean lines of the Yeti, its proclaimed durability, the loads of handles, and even the yellow color, but none of that translated into any better performance than my $35 Arctic Zone Titan cooler. It's not surprising, I guess, because Gear Lab Reviews rated the insulation in each cooler exactly the same, at a 6. So, just what am I getting for the extra 571% price tag? I could not find any advantages in the Yeti that would justify the price, so I returned it to Amazon and kept the Arctic Zone. The Yeti would make a great $50 cooler, and if I found one at a garage or yard sale, I would buy it. But, from what I've seen, it's performance isn't anywhere near what it should be for the extra 571%. I'm happy with my choice of the Arctic Zone.

Yes, you are going to pay for it! It is not cheap. It does work excellent. Keeps things nice and cold all day with zero issues. Small enough to bring everywhere, but big enough to pack a good amount in. I saw some reviews on zipper issues and was a little nervous. The zipper is tight, but it does seal and work well. Time will tell, but I am confident the product will last. Very happy with the purchase.
