If you're reading my review then your probably considering buying this lunch bag, but please read my whole review before you decide. Firstly I'm gonna talk about the number one thing people complain about regarding this lunch bag, and it's the size. This is a lunch bag, not a cooler! Please do not buy this bag if you are planning on carrying your whole refrigerator in it, the bag won't hold up. The size and dimensions of the bag are in the item description, and if you don't believe those dimensions, then please look it up on YETI'S website. The bag does offer a sort of adjusting system for carrying more or less, but that's just about it, before you buy please make sure your tupperware or objects you wanna keep in this lunch bag stay within the dimensions listed. Second, people complain about this bags inability to maintain food and drinks at a cold enough temperature, this is all different for everybody. You are the consumer, if this bag does not line up with your activities then please do not purchase. I work in a factory with a air conditioned break room, for me the bags purpose is to keep my food cold on my way to work, I have a 1 hour drive to work and in california heat, I need my food to stay cold til I make it to work. If you work outside in the summer heat with no way of keeping this lunch bag out of the sun, then it won't hold up, heck even most coolers won't be able to hold up even with ice packs. Third, the price! Don't buy this lunch bag without doing proper research as to what your getting out of it, and what your expecting to get. If you want lots of room, go buy a cooler or lunch box. Don't blame this lunch bag for being the opposite of what you expected just because you were to lazy to do 10 minutes of research or to arrogant to read the item description. Final verdict, I'm very satisfied with this lunch bag, honestly I think YETI did a fantastic job with it. I obviously did my research before buying it and knew that everything I needed to take to work plus more would fit snuggly into this lunch bag, however my only con is that this lunch bag brushes the skin off my fingers and gets smeared by it very easily. Not sure if it's my skin or a waxy coating, but none the less it wipes of very easily. Compared to my previous lunch bag I clearly made the right choice with YETI. Kind of upset. Wanted to upgrade my lunch bag for work because my old bag was starting to feel wet on the outside so I thought I needed a new one. I just bought this yeti thinking that would be it and while it did actually keep my drinks cold and my food warm I am so disappointed in how wet the outside of this bag got. When I got to my car to eat my lunch I grabbed my new yeti and put it on my lap to get food out and the outside of bag was soaked as well as my lap:(. My seat was soaked so I now have to put it down on a towel in my car on the floorboard so it can absorb all the condensation that comes off this bag. I purchased the lunch box and Yeti Ice. I found the lunch box a little too small. By the time you put the Yeti ice in the bottom add a couple cans of soda a small Tupperware container and a small bag of chips it stacked very high (cold falls). You have to take everything out to get something on the bottom. If you place it in the freezer as recommended it becomes stiff and the latch becomes hard to work. If it was a little wider I think it would work better. In the end it didn't keep my lunch noticeably cooler than my cheap Walmart lunch box. ... show more

I’m truly disappointed in this Yeti lunch bag. I was looking forward to it keeping my food cold all day. The first time I used it, it didn’t make it through the whole day. The next time I pre-chilled the lunch bag and it worked a lot better. However, I noticed that the bag sweats at the bottom where the yeti ice pack is. For the price and brand I expected this to perform a lot better. I’m wondering if the sweating is a defect. I work in an air conditioned office so I know the inside is colder than “room temperature” because of the sweating. But the sweating is unacceptable. ... show more

I put the same ice pack that I used in the cheaper one and even cooled down the Yeti lunch bag as instructed, but the Yeti contents were warmer and ice pack nearly gone by noon. For $80, laughable.

Didn.t keep cold ice was melted before I got off work and I had 2 frozen drinks one I usually bring home slushy but with this lunchbox it was completely melted .

This lunchbox was a huge disappointment. My husband and I fight over who has to use this because neither of us like it at all. It’s extremely stiff which makes it difficult to secure it shut and fold up for storage. It doesn’t really fully fold up or stay standing when in use-it’s just a pain!! Great lunch box. A little pricey but it’s definitely well built and will out last the cheep lunch boxes. I keep it in my work truck all day and my drinks are always ice cold, dang near frosty. I have read some of the negative reviews and I would say if you need a cooler buy a cooler. This is a day trip lunch bag you can’t compare it to a cooler.
