I was running low on flux core wire and Harbor Freight is charging over $20 now for a 2 lb spool, so I figured I’d try this stuff since it was less than half the price of the Vulcan wire. I expected it to work about the same in my little green Harbor Freight welder. I was wrong - it’s way better. I ran out of the Vulcan wire and loaded in the Yeswelder wire and was actually shocked at how much less splatter and how much smoother it worked in the Harbor Freight 125 amp Easy Flux welder. I love this welder by the way, Harbor Freight is currently giving them away for $149. That’s a steal, just don’t bother with their flux core wire and get this stuff instead!

Wire welds well. My complaint with the product has to do with labeling. I ordered the .030 and the .035 neither the boxes they came in were labeled to indicate the wire size. The bags the spools are sealed in are not labeled either. Its a guess as to what size wire you are opening and since I live in a humid part of the world I would prefer not to open the package until it is needed.

I haven't got a chance to use it yet, since I'm still burning trough my $34 roll of something else I should have never got. Anyway, this was very affordable, and all comes neatly packaged in vacuum bags so it can wait on me, it's an excellent deal for anyone jumping into welding that just needs something to burn while getting good.

Good wire did the job. I bought an inexpensive 120V electric welder. after some practice, I welded two pieces together that hold my motorcycle footboard to my motorcycle. Better than new. The weld slag came right off. I credit the wire for the acceptable job.
