  • Works great quick install
Style: Fit for Chicago welder
Saved me money on a new welder. Works great was easy to install with a little knowledge... I got it to replace the bad torch I had on my dinky 90 Amp Chicago electric welder ..( the old blue model).. I am very happy with the results ... also came with a gas tube so now I can attach gas , my version had no gas hookup , now I do "bonus" .. lol I would recommend this for anyone owning a Chicago electric welder and needing a replacement..... oh and like others pointed out it's longer than the one that came with the welder... ... show more

  • Chicago Electric 68886 180 amp machine
Style: Fit for Chicago welder
This fit my no longer available Chicago Electric 68886 180 amp welder. Had to cut off approximately 14” of the liner. The liner is slightly larger in diameter than the original. The main power wire is too short to fit through the original hole though. I bent out the corners of the ‘+’ sign above the red terminal knob and ran it through there. Overall not a difficult installation. About 30 minutes. It wasn’t hard to splice the two wires for the wire feed control. It has a different nozzle than the original gun but I like it better. They are cheaper to replace and easier to find at HFT or online. I wanted a longer lead but it was $40 for just 2 more feet. The replacement is only about a foot longer than the original but every little bit helps. The wire feed mechanism on the 68886 is flimsy and difficult to get tight enough but replacements are still available from third party sellers. I put washers on mine to shim it up. I have two of these welders and actually use a brace on one to get the proper alignment of the wire with the drive wheels. Great little welding machine really though. I’ve bought multiple items from Yes Welder and have not been disappointed. Good luck with yours. ... show more

  • Up dated my old Mig welder!
Style: Fit for Clarke welder
I have a very old Astro-Power 110 Powermig made in Italy. It can only be used as a gas welder and not a flux wire because it used a one wire torch. The torch was getting rather ragged so I thought I would try a modification. This two wire torched added versatility and years of life to my 30 year old machine. In photo one, you can see I have the torch wires set up to flux wire welding. The positive cable was a little short to go the the + (in the photo it is connected to -), so I had to splice it. The wire feeder cable was plenty long, I cut it to length using a dremel cut-off wheel. Although not made for my specific welder I am VERY happy with this torch. It is two feet longer than my old torch and I can change from flux wire to gas wire by reversing the polarity. The gas and wire feed switch work well. (I am not a professional welder) The torch was delivered within a week. Yes, I would recommend to a friend. ... show more

  • Replacement for older HF welder
Style: Fit for Chicago welder
Replaced my worn out torch on an older Harbor Freight welder. Went together with minimal modifications, just needed a new coupler for the gas line. Feeds smooth and feels solid.

  • Slightly better quality whip than the titanium flux 125
Style: Fit for Chicago welder
As the other reviews say, you’ll have to cut and splice and what not but took all of 15 minutes and it’s pretty decent

  • Wish I had found this sooner missed my welder !
Style: Fit for Clarke welder
The torch on my 30 year old Mac Tools "Cebora built" welder called it quits a while back and was no longer available new. I recently moved and don't have a 220volt outlet in my garage yet so I started thinking about the little welder on the shelf and stumbled onto this torch. It came in 2 days took about 45 minutes to clean out the cobwebs inside the welder and hook this torch up. I like the steel liner so much more than the poly one in the original torch. I am a mechanic and do most of my welding at the shop, but it's nice to have the little one back for the odd repair at home, it works like just like I remember, maybe better . ... show more

  • Easy quick instal but did not flow wire smoothly or consistently.
Style: Fit for Chicago welder
Not my favorite. Easy assembly installation but I couldn't wire to flow smooth consistently. My performance and welds suffered. I definitely did not like the trigger. It is rigid and uncomfortable. I got a blister from using it too much. Trigger should be smooth. I did like the easy install and the hook but not for me. ... show more
