After getting a bottle of Argon and a regulator, I was able to set this TIG welder up easily. I went with a YESWELDER gas regulator and had no issues hooking it up. The welder comes with a gas line, you so only need the regulator itself (and a bottle of Argon). I picked up some tungsten and I was ready to weld. This machine is small and light. It easily fits, with room for the power cable when unplugged, on the welding cart I picked up from the local dock cargo store. I am not a very experienced welder. I have done flux core and stick welding in my garage. I also took a welding class at a local college. This is my first gas welder at home, and I am absolutely thrilled with how it has performed. This machine is just like the ones I was using in the college welding lab, even though I'm on 110 volts. Plus, I am perfectly happy using the button instead of the foot pedal, which would have been another thing to purchase. The controls are intuitive, and I had no trouble making adjustments. When you turn it off while on 110V, it reads 220V on the screen for a few seconds before turning off. It freaked me out the first time, but I guess it just says that while it's powering down. Even if you unplug it, the capacitors hold power and keeps the screen lit up for several seconds. There's quite a bit of cost required to make this machine usable as a TIG welder, but you can use it for stick welding with just some consumable rods. If you are looking to TIG weld some steel in your garage, this machine can make it happen.

I’ve used several welders over the years. Needed a new one and tried this YESWELDER 220A TIG Welder. It has been a work horse and met my every expectation. Both in performance and versatility. The 5-in-1 functionality makes this machine incredibly useful whether you’re doing TIG, Pulse TIG, Stick welding, Cold Spot TIG, or Weld Clean work. It handles all materials smoothly and feels much more upper-end than the price would suggest. The arc starts are clean and consistent thanks to the HF start feature, and the Pulse TIG mode gives excellent control on thinner metals, which I do allot of. I was especially happy with how stable the machine runs with both 110V and 220V power. Having dual voltage capability makes it easy to use in different work environments without sacrificing power. The interface is straightforward and easy to dial in, even if your still learning TIG welding. Auto post-gas works great for protecting the weld and extending tungsten life, and the foot pedal interface gives precise heat control during detailed work. A must! Build quality and is solid. This machine runs quietly, and it has plenty of power for serious fabrication projects. For this price, this welder delivers features normally found on much more expensive welders. Definitely one of the best value welders I’ve purchased. I would highly recommend it to hobbyists, DIYers, and even experienced welders looking for a capable multi-process machine. For price, quality, features this is a 5 star.

Comes with a m16x1.5 outlet for the tig torch. For shielding gas and power. Has a short, euro style torch lead (horrible). Which would be fine bc I would replace it with something longer and less bulky. But because of the connection it's going to be nearly impossible without janky adapters. Nothing in the product description notes the connection types. I'm pretty disappointed in the set up for this machine.

This welder honestly impressed us right out of the box. It comes with pretty much everything you need to get started (just add tungsten), and I love that it can plug into a regular outlet so you don’t need any special setup. We grabbed a scrap piece of 1/4” plate to test it and it welded great immediately. The DC setting runs really smooth and was easy to get dialed in. One thing I didn’t expect to like as much was the trigger option. I’m used to a foot pedal, but I actually felt like I had more control with the trigger. It also has another trigger mode that helps with hand fatigue, which is a nice touch. The digital screen is simple and easy to read, so adjusting settings doesn’t feel confusing at all. It’s also not overly bulky, which makes it easy to move around. I could definitely see this being used as a portable setup without any hassle. The weld cleaning function is really satisfying to use too and cleans everything up quickly with the right solution. This has been a really solid machine and would make a great portable welding setup.
