I installed these as side cases on my Honda NC750X, rather than top cases, using the aftermarket Xitomer saddlebag rack also available on Amazon. For the price, these are probably the best quality cases that you will find of this size. While the walls are a little bit thin, they hold up very well to flexing from the weight of items put in them. I did a grocery run earlier today and had about 25 lbs in each case. I have also reinforced the bolts on the inside with a structural support made of steel plate to prevent that flexion from just ripping holes in the plastic. The 45L size is large enough for a DOT rated modular helmet with a M-L shell. The locks are pretty good, I like that they come with reverse cut keys, because these are much harder to pick. If anybody really wants into them, they'll probably have to do some work with a hammer. I really like that the latches have a spring mechanism to keep them from opening accidentally, you actually have to push a button under the handle to pop them open. I do not like that the handles are just for show. I would definitely not trust strapping anything on with them because it just uses really thin screws and the handles are thin plastic. I don't think I'd even want to carry these by the handles, to be honest. I am really happy with my purchase here, though for your own safety I definitely can't recommend using these in a way other than the manufacturer describes. Personally, I think if you don't overload them you'll do just fine doing what I did. I might recommend using larger bolts than what comes with the saddlebag kit. Installing these as top cases definitely has to be easier than what I have done here. If I decide to get a third case for the top, I will buy the same one again. ... show more

Very light weight. sides can flex a little because they are a little thin, but secure. I like the top side rails that you can bungy a coat or sleeping bag etc to (I wouldn't strap anything heavy to it). The inside liner needs more velcro, hasn't fallen out but you can't utilize the top pockets with anything heavy. I wouldn't put anything really valuable in it, a good smack with a hammer would crack it right open. Could use some improvements, but I have used it all summer for commuting and it is very handy and works well so 5 stars. Held 2 gallons of milk no problem. Not sure how it would hold up to offroad adventure camping. It would keep your weight down, but I wouldn't put really heavy stuff IN it. ... show more

While I had to find my own screws since I was missing 2 I managed to secure it to my Gotrax A7 despite the terrible instructions that describe nothing. The size is as described as fits 2 full face helmets. Attaching was an adventure as the pictures show it’ll fit a luggage rack of that style it took quite a lot of elbow grease and 8 hands to install It’s fairly flimsy and thin plastic but it’ll manage short commutes and groceries or even a spare scooter tire and first aid kit. Cant be beat for the price. Fits my Ibex 450 very well. Was easy to mount/install. The only shortcoming is the liner but add some extra double-sided tape. or sticky Velcro, and your good.
