Some assembly is required (simply screw in the wheels and attach the three segments). The rolling garage seat is surprisingly durable, with the plastic tray supported by solid steel struts. The wheels are sturdy, and the only aspect that feels somewhat less premium is the seat cushion itself, which is stiff and tilts slightly in the direction you lean (-1 star). I am quite satisfied with this purchase and acquired it for use at work.

This was the perfect purchase for the price! The weight capacity and the tray on the bottom are the selling points and have proved worthwhile. This stool has held up with the build of a cabin and have had no issues. The wheels move well the storage on the bottom is a great addition.

It would SEEM simple to assemble: screw the casters to the base, stick the hydraulic lift into the base, slip the tool caddy over the hydraulic, and jam the seat on. Unfortunately, the tool caddy comes already installed on the base, and for love nor money it would not come off so I could install the casters. You have to install the casters before the caddy because the caddy covers the holes you need to insert the casters into. I tried everything I could think of: first just tipping it over, assuming the caddy would just slip off the base; HAH! So I searched for tabs that might lock it in place, in the hope of bending them and it would snap out; HAH! I t4ied a screwdriver to pry it out, i searched Utube, searched the wbe, I emailed tech support, I asked Amazon what my options were, I bruised my knuckles, trying everything I could think of, absolutely no luck. So when I finally gave up and was putting the parts back in the box to return it, I accidentallt dropped the base, it hit the doorframe, and hellif the #$*=(# caddy didn't just pop right out. Now that, I hadnt thought of trying. So assembly was a breeze after that. And I can say that the hydraulic easily holds my weight, 260lbs, the casters are good quality, but the seat, near as I can tell, just sits on top of the post, not really attached, so its kind of wobbly feeling. Granted, this was one of the least expensive models that guaranteed to hold my weight, because that's what I could afford, but come on! I'm clever enough to assemble stuff based on the simple instructions included. They instructions shouldn't need to include a preparation step "chuck the parts down the stairs in frustration. So, if I missed something crucial, I assume one of you will enlighten me. Ease of assembly is why it ot a three. Functionality is why it didnt get a one. The best $(%&!!! Product is worthless if you cant assemble it
