Description

The DEWALT DXSTFH030 was designed and engineered to provide a heavy-duty stool fit for use in the busiest workshops and professional garages. This stool's legs and supports are built using the same powder-coated, industrial grade steel uprights and crossbeams as our 4-foot storage rack. The comfortable foam-padded seat sits atop a 360-degree swivel allowing free and easy rotation when seated and the textured vinyl cover resists rips and tears. A bracket- secured industrial wire grid lower shelf provides an ideal place to store necessary tools and supplies. Featuring an all steel frame construction this stool can easily hold up to 300 pounds without showing any signs of weakening or metal fatigue. This stool features a version of the rugged, glass-filled nylon feet used on the storage racks that has an adjustable levelling pad as part of the foot. Made of the same reinforced nylon material these levelling feet can be easily adjusted by hand to eliminate any wobbling of the stool in addition to preventing damage to the powder coat and finished flooring. The bolt-secured frame comes pre-assembled with only the seat needing to be attached before the stool is ready for use.

When I ordered this I expected the metal to be a lower gauge then it was, I was pleasantly surprised. It arrived in its own box and was in good shape when it arrived. The stool was basically in three pieces. The bolts were already in the holes so putting it together was very easy. Base, Seat swivel and seat. It came with an Allen wrench and a bit, so you can use a drill if you prefer. I was reluctant to spend the money for this, but after seeing it, assembling it, and lifting it. I feel it was worth it. The stool is about 29.5" tall. So it is a basic bar stool height. NOTE: I saw reviews complaining about the stool height. I'm 6' or 6'4 and my feet couldn't comfortable touch the ground while I was sitting... IT'S A STOOL PEOPLE NOT A CHAIR. If you want your feet to touch the floor, get a chair. If you have to have a stool and have your feet firmly touch the ground, then get a toilet. Because it's the only stool that it's going to happen with. FYI - Average Heights of chairs and stools. Assembly was very easy, only eight screws to have it together. the eight screws were to attach the seat and swivel to the frame. It also came with the Allen wrench for the screws. For the price range, this is a sturdy stool! It was shipped to me in adequate packaging, in a timely fashion. The vendor did a good job of that! It was a breeze to assemble! My reasoning for giving only a four star rating is that I would like to see better padding on the cushion! I guess the downside of having a better cushion would be me getting even less work done! Very sturdy stool. My much larger coworkers broke my last stool so I had to get something that would support the weight of a Mac truck and this stool delivers. The paint is nice and thick and the perfect color. I slapped some Steelers and Penguins stickers along the legs so now the raiders fans in the shop avoid writing W. I recently purchased this stool on Amazon from RAK Distribution. The box the stool came in was significantly damaged. Fortunately, The only thing damaged on the stool was one of the plastic feet. I contacted RAK customer service (Mary) for some help. I received a response the same day and they indicated that the part would be shipped out ASAP.
