This is a wonderful, weatherproof, Adirondack chair. I absolutely adore the turquoise color - it looks so tropical and inviting sitting by the pool. It's the perfect shade for summer! The chair itself is made of very durable weather-resistant material, and it was easy to assemble. It did take two people to assemble it, but it was still easy. I love it so much that I just bought one of the Adirondack side tables in turquoise to put by the chair! Highly recommended!

****UPDATE**** I’ve had these for about 6 months now and I stand by my original review. If anything I’ve noticed only a slight fading of the color (mainly just a slight loss of vibrancy). They have been outside in the elements and structurally they’re as solid as when I bought them. So go ahead and pull the trigger; you won’t be disappointed. Let me start out by saying I did a good amount of research before pulling the trigger on these chairs. I’ve purchased both real wood and wood blend outdoor furniture, and both have their pros and cons. I eventually chose these chairs because how highly most reviews spoke of the customer service experience. I can speak directly to that as well: I received an email shortly after placing my order. The company sent me (unsolicitedly, mind you) a set of updated instructions because they received complaints that the ones that come with chairs weren’t clear enough (in reality they were fine). But the company took that feedback to heart and acted on it! Unheard of nowadays!! So that automatically endeared me to them. Now for the product itself; they’re very well constructed or a Trex decking like composite material, which seems pretty durable. They were super easy to put together (after the second chair it only took 5-10 min to assemble each of the others), and though I’m skeptical about the 400# rating, the chair barely creaks when I sit in it (and I’m a big guy). It’s extremely comfortable, though if you have shorter legs you may consider having/using a pillow behind you for support to easily get out of the chair as it’s pretty low to the ground. They’re beautifully textured and look like real wood from a distance. They are very well packaged to prevent shipping damage. As a bonus, the tools included in the kit are actually pretty darn good quality, unlike most of the other RTA furniture kits from China. Trust me…you’re gonna want to keep these! Everything about these to me scream quality. I’ve only had them a week but I’m extremely happy with them and optimistic about their survival in the Texas elements. The hope is they won’t fade in the brutal summer sun (fingers crossed). I will update this post in a few months and let you know how I feel about them. But for now, if you’re on the fence about pulling the trigger, climb on down and place your order. I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed.

These are the Adirondack chairs you've been looking for. This manufacturer has clear and easy instructions. Everything you need -- parts, fasteners, and tools -- are included in the well-packed box. Assembly takes under an hour by one person with a second person assisting at times. The instructions say you can use a power screwdriver. That's true -- and it helped. But I assembled some other chairs using just the manual screwdriver and that was also just as good. These chairs are sturdy and designed well. They look classic -- far better and roomier than those cheap plastic chairs in the drug store or big-box stores. And customer support is fantastic, just a quick email message away with fantastic response time.

The chairs are substantial, nearly 50 lbs each. They look nice and are comfortable to sit in. The assembly instructions are easy to follow. Per the manual, the chairs would be easier to assemble with two participants - however, I had to assemble mine alone. It was more time consuming than I had guessed, but an easy task. Each chair took about an hour to complete. I wish I had known that when ordering in order to budget my time. Overall pleased with the purchase and I appreciate they can fold down to a slim profile for winter storage.
