Not totally sure if it works untill I scan the car again . Seems to be good quality . And to save you a headache just use the bracket that’s already attached to the car . Instead of the new one . It slides right off after pushing the metal tab . No need to take bolts out or anything . Just bend it over a little bit to get the old one off . Slide the new one on , attach hoses and bend it back . Boom ... show more

    • It solved my problems.
This is a perfect fit for a 2006 GMC Envoy SLT. It was a pain to install, through no fault of theirs. It solved the starting problems after getting gas. I went from the top of the hood opening, the best way I think would be to take the drivers side tire and wheel off and go through the wheel well.

    • Valve does not seal closed
Part was an exact fit, but faulty in that the valve leaked, didn't fully close. It didn't clear the fault after install, and eventually failed bad enough to where the truck would have hard starts after fueling up because it was allowing fumes to pass to the intake flooding it. I winded up spending more money troubleshooting it by buying the charcoal canister as well which wasn't faulty. Finally pulled this amazon part today and was able to blow air through it which should not happen unless powered and commanded open. OEM part is about $80, I got one today from NAPA for $38 which works fine and cleared the code. ... show more

Would have gave it 5 but the slide piece the bolt holes were too small so I had to put the old one back on the new one but so far works great definitely recommend
