Easy to work with but more or less single-use. It fractures easily and also can be accidentally cut in two with grass shears, so make appropriate decisions with regards to how low it REALLY needs to be. The good thing is that it's easy to splice together with knots if you idiotically, repeatedly cut it in two with grass shears (some of us are slow learners!). I like the high-visibility color, which has undoubtedly saved me from most (but not all) shocks (slow learner and all). Seems a good value, with plenty of wire for when your goats hook it and pull it down by accident. One can pull it pretty taut, which is great to keep it from sagging in the rain. Works great! Very easy install. I am transitioning to this over aluminum and steel wire due to its increased visibility. Splicing takes some work as I peeled back the wires and twisted then tied them to the steel or aluminum lines, then used the twine to hold the tension since the wires are really thin. I am getting 7.7 amps through my fence. So far has held up to elm tree branches falling on it despite being thinner. I plan on leaving this up year round, so we will see if it lasts to cows, deer, and and the occasional elk running into it. Hopefully the color allows them to see it easier and have fewer breaks. ... show more

It is highly visible, easily installable and not too expensive but I’ve been trying to get the wire to carry the power completely to the other end of the fencing which is @2000 feet but the voltage drops @1000-2000volts every 250 feet so @1/2 way there’s no power to zap a fly. I’m using a .65 joule charger that’s rated for up to 30 miles pumping out @6000volts and this project is a headache and performance of the wire is unacceptable. Replacing a few sections of wire in areas where it looks like it may have broken internally but no progress. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ... show more
