A disclaimer: I ordered this for the rather unusual dusty lavender color and had no real intention of trying to actually wrestle a comforter into it! I've found that, for me, I like using them as a coverlet and being able to change out the colors/design in my bedroom easily. This is a decent, thin, microfiber duvet cover. It's basically just 2 sheets sewn together with a zipper- even with the ties, I'm sure a comforter would always be shifting around inside. The color is lovely, and it's very soft. Because it is thin, I'm a little concerned as to how it will hold up with our cat walking around and kneading on it with her overgrown nails, but that's on us. ... show more

Right out of the wrapper the fabric was soft to the touch. After washing, it was still very soft to the touch. The duvet cover has a zipper at the bottom, which is quicker than the button ones. The inside of the corners have little ties so you can tie the corner of the comforter to the inside of the cover to keep it in place. The pillow cases are also nice and soft. The only negative thing is it didn't come with a matching sheet. 3 pieces is the duvet cover and two pillow cases. So I'll need to see if I can find a similar color sheet, but other than that, it feels nice and soft on the skin and seems to be a good duvet. ... show more

I like the quality of the fabric. It is soft and very comfortable when touching it. We did the first wash before trying it. After washing it, the fabric is still in the good shape. This duvet has only a cover sheet and two pillowcases ONLY. It doesn't have a cover for the comforter. At this price point, it seems to be a bit too high. ... show more
