It’s soft but light weight, perfect for summer spring time. In the winter I will put a blanket underneath or supply a throw. I went outside my comfort area with this print and I’m liking it. May buy some other decor to enhance the “rustic” theme.

This quilt is a great weight. We like to open the window at night with a small fan bringing in the air. It has been in the 40's and this quilt with a sheet has been all we need to keep warm. It is also pretty and Christmasy enough to be a holiday quilt but not so much so that it can't be used for just a winter quilt. The reverse side is is good too so we can change over to the stripes when we are tired of looking at the trees. Has a nice soft feel to it. Highly recommend! I bought this for our guest room for Christmas. While the color isn’t quite as vibrant as pictured it is still a really nice woodsy quilt. I bought a king size for the queen bed and it fits nicely. It is pretty nice, but it does wrinkle a little bit and some threads were loose. It's soft and comfortable and washes well in a machine. I never reversed it but you certainly could.
