Our old machine we couldn't fine parts for it. Order the Yamata FY5318 head only for replacement. Was able to fit in our old cabinet, with little alteration. Took us a while to get it together. The manual was in Chinese but has good illustrations to follow. The machine is quieter than our old on and runs very smoothly. The walking foot is smaller than our older machine so think that why it's so quiet. Can sew through very think material with ease. We also bought the magnet guides since the base is all metal. They makes it easier to sew wide seams for tarps. ... show more

    • Nice Machine
This was purchased as an upgrade over my Singer 111w104. This is a basic lock stitch with variable stitch length, reverse stitching (really great for securing your stitch ends) and also has the knee lift assembly allowing both hands to stay on your work piece. After a couple of hours setup and testing I now have used it for most the day and am very happy with the purchase. The newer version has a built in bobbin spooler in the top of the machine. Used this spooler once and can't say it impressed me so consider a table mount version in addition to this purchase. Found this same price elsewhere but shipping would be added, so this is a better deal. ... show more
