Although I did not accept any compensation, I am updating my review to 4.5 stars (Averaged up to 5 since I can't give 4.5 stars) as I was admittedly annoyed when I wrote the original review - but I was able to re-use the gasket from the old leaky tank and got this to work quickly. I would still recommend this tank based on the quality of the product itself and the seller's excellent customer service focused response. Purchase with confidence - this is a quality tank and the seller stands behind their products. Original Review: I really wanted to love this tank — and honestly, the tank itself is fantastic. The YAMAKATO 17510-ZE3-030ZA Gas Tank for Honda GX240 / GX270 / GX340 / GX390 engines is extremely well made. The metal thickness is solid, welds look clean, paint finish is smooth and durable, and the mounting points line up properly. Capacity is right in that 1.5–1.7 gallon range and it fits exactly like OEM. From a pure product standpoint, it feels high quality and built to last. For anyone running a pressure washer, generator, or commercial GX-series application, this tank itself would normally get 5 stars from me. But here’s the problem — and it’s a big one. I paid top dollar for overnight shipping because my project was time-sensitive and downtime costs money. I needed everything complete so I could install and move forward immediately. What showed up? The tank came with a fuel filter… without a gasket. No gasket. No seal. No way to properly install it. So instead of finishing my job, I had to stop, source parts, and lose valuable time. When you charge premium pricing and expedited shipping fees, the expectation is that the kit is complete and ready to install. This is exactly the kind of frustrating oversight that gives aftermarket parts a bad reputation. The tank itself is great — but missing basic components on an expedited order is unacceptable. Quality control matters. Especially when professionals are relying on you. Used to repair a tank on a wheel barrow style air compressor. everything fit fine and seemed of good quality until we went to move around the compressor. when tipped on its side at all the tank pours gasoline out of the cap between the gasket. checked and everything is tight and as it should be. otherwise great. can't have gasoline pouring everytime its moved on job sites as well it pours directly onto hot exhaust muffler. ... show more

Fuel tank fit the motor very well. A great alternative to buying a OEM part for a wore out motor that stills have life in it. You may want to reuse the original filling cap but the cap comes with the new tank is ok

    • Great replacement for Generac pressure washer

My old fuel tank was rotted and rusted out; while a Generac branded fuel tank was nearly $90 I decided to take a chance on this one as the dimensions seemed to fit at 1/4 of the price. It fit perfectly! The only thing that had to be done was to cut the fuel line in half to fit it in properly.
