Description

The 5-string Yamaha TRBX 305 bass combines a modern contoured body with active electronics and a choice of five stylish colors—including the new Factory Blue finish. The instrument’s sculpted solid mahogany body and fast 5-piece maple/mahogany neck make it exceptionally comfortable to play, while powerful YGD M3 ceramic pickups and Performance EQ circuitry with five preset curves and 2-band master equalization deliver a huge range of stage-ready tones. Straight string pull from nut to tuners eliminates lateral tension, providing superior tuning stability and reducing overtones, while a high-mass die-cast bridge efficiently transfers string vibrations to the body, resulting in increased sustain.

She is a beauty and sounds amazing. Geeked about taking my playing to the next level. It came completely set up, action, intonation, etc. Thank you Seawater Sound!!

Love this bass
Style: 500 Series Size: 5-String Color: Translucent Brown
Love this bass. Has a nice clean sound with a deep tone. The strings are a little closer to the fret than I prefer, but I plan to adjust them up a bit.

Very Nice sound and Quality for the price.
Style: 500 Series Size: 5-String Color: Translucent White
This is considered an entry level bass in the TRBX series. However this bass definitely stands above the rest in its price range. Even at this level this a a very nice feeling and sounding bass. One day i wanted a 4 string just something inexpensive to play at gigs. I tried many different basses at guitar at this price point and this is by far the cleanest sounding. The bass is clean deep and the high crisp as well. Other basses in this price range sound muddy and just cheap. this bass has very simple pick controls, not as versatile as more expensive basses obviously, but this is classic yamaha quality at an affordable price. I own other basses but this is one of my favs to play live or record. i would recommend this all day. ... show more

Definitely worth every penny
Style: 500 Series Size: 5-String Color: Brick Burst
The build quality for a $400 instrument is pretty amazing. It's solid, fantastic to play, and sounds great. I did feel like the action was a touch high out of the box, but that was easily fixed. The finish was flawless, and the fretwork was as good as far more expensive basses I've played. I can't recommend this more if you're looking for a solid first bass, or if you're a gigging musician who needs something quality on a budget. ... show more
