The Yamaha MODX7 is a very sleek and slim keyboard. It doesn’t fit snug in 3rd party keyboard cases. I’ve tried all the top brands, and none of them fit correctly, they were all too big. I didn’t want to spend $125. On a case, but I wasn’t going to take it out of the house without a case, but it defeated the reason I bought a 76 Keyboard in the first place. I was tired of lugging around my 88 key weighted keyboard, and my 61 key keyboards were too small to play mains. You will not be disappointed with this case. The fit is perfect, and the case is solidly made. The wheels make life easy - I just hope they hold up, because they don't appear to be replaceable. I like the handles on the long edge that allow you to carry it like a suitcase. My only little gripe is the grip on the top handle. I know it's there to provide a more comfortable grip, but it spins around and actually makes the handle more difficult to hold on to. I may remove it. Perfect fix and style to show the professional look. 3 ways of carrying: Side handle, back handle for carry or hanging, and shoulder straps for backpack transport. Exactly what I wanted, less expensive and got it quicker than ordering from the music store.

I love that it has a pocket where you can store the sustain, my gadgets and many more things without loosing shape. Is very secure because it has a thick pad to cover the piano. I didn’t realize it didn’t come with added cushion for the inside. Nevertheless I’ve used it locally and it does the job. Just don’t allow someone that doesn’t care about your equipment to transport it. I wouldn’t recommend using it to transport on an airplane though. Get a hard case for that.
