The media could not be loaded. This system is really nice and I mean it! Not a lot of information on this unit but what I can say is this system gets extremely loud to the point where you can lose your hearing from it. There is no distortion from this system even at max volume. I like music loud but this loud is on the next level and this is coming from a guy who has a lot of audio equipment and experience in the audio and FM broadcast industry! The nice thing is FM sounds wonderful on this unit. FM radio sensitivity is just wonderful like a high end receiver or like a good car FM radio. The wire provided to get radio reception wasn’t the best but a good tip is to put the wire next to the speaker wires to act like a ground plane but I highly recommend to get a good FM radio antenna that goes on your roof of your house for superior reception. AND no, the speaker wires don’t interfere with reception!!! I was skeptical due to the lack of information on this Yamaha, but I took that risk. I always knew Yamaha always been a very premium brand for audio and receivers but then you watch videos online about this unit they hate on it for being a cheap system when this isn’t true. This unit is for someone who wants a: Basic Semi Audiophile Stereo (Left and Right Sound) FM Radio, Line In or CD Playback, if you buy the cd reader separate. The video I provide is this stereo shaking my cheap old school 80s 8 inch bookshelf speakers. The only con is no sub out port. Irrelevant information starts here: The setup you see in the video is only temporary as we are remodeling the house and garage this stereo is currently in. Are new house is being currently being built in the country and after are new garage is built I’ll be putting this stereo in there and be setting this up with 2 outdoor Yamaha AW-350s on our back deck by the fire pit and the 2 old school 80s speakers in the garage. (Also a FM antenna mast for extreme FM radio reception.) The idea is the backyard would have good audio for music and are front yard would also get some good ported sound from the garage. Overall me and my family spends a lot of time outdoors no phones and little to no internet time just hanging out listening to music. The reason I am sharing this is because this is what I see a unit like this being used for.

100 watts a channel and Bluetooth for $150!! Have used it everyday for about 9 months now. Powers my Bose 601 series III beautifully. Easy to connect. I do not use am or fm so can't comment on the radio. I use Spotify from my Google phone and a pioneer CD player, and a Sennheiser headphone. Wish I upgraded to this Yamaha sooner. Great reciever at unbelievable price.

Bluetooth with my android phone and turn receiver off and music pauses, turn receiver on later and music automatically starts. Good Bluetooth music clarity, FM reception is a little iffy but okay.

I purchased this to replace an amp that is over 20 years old. It integrated into my system perfectly and provided excellent radio reception, which the old one did not. I appreciate the built-in bluetooth and that it had connections for all my devices. Setup was quick and performance is excellent.

If you missed the whole headline. Warning this receiver does not work with all Bluetooth devices or connections, and it’s a 30 day refund window…. I purchased this product to replace an old receiver for my spare room tv/speakers. I wasn’t looking for anything over the top and after reading the reviews and the fact it was on sale I thought this would be just what I needed. I was really looking for the Bluetooth connectivity, as my daughter likes to go in there and draw and listen to music from her devices. After I received the product I set it up, hooked everything up, and tried to connect my phone (iphone 15), wouldn’t connect, I tried my Samsung TV, wouldn’t connect, I tried my android tablet, still wouldn’t connect. It wouldn’t show up a a discoverable device on any of my other devices. After looking through the manual and the troubleshooting instructions, I saw a disclaimer on page 13 stating that this device may not connect to all devices. So the next day, I dropped it off at UPS as I have for other returns, but for this item the didn’t refund the money. They told me it would take 30 days for the refund to reflect in my Amazon account. When o called to check about this they just told me that they would not refund the money until they received it at the warehouse. So after waiting a week the package finally arrived at Amazon. I called the following day to inquire about the refund since they had the product, and I was again told they will refund the funds back to me Amazon account 30 days after I dropped the package. So not only do I not have a receiver, I also have that money tied up for at least another 2 weeks until the decide to refund my money. Bottom line don’t waste your time, money, or energy on the receiver.

YAMAHA R-S202BL Stereo Receiver drives my 3 way speakers with an awesome sound. Bluetooth works like expected. Unit is very easy to use. I'm hooking it up to my computer using a USB DAC to get 24 bit high resolution audio driving a nice set of 8 ohm three way speakers with 12 inch driver. Can rock you out of the room or fill the whole house with good quality sound as you move about.
