Features

  • BUNDLE INCLUDES: Yamaha P-45 88-Key Entry Level Digital Piano | Pedal/Footswitch | Music Rest | PA150 AC Adapter | Yamaha 3 Year Limited Warranty | Keyboard Stand | Keyboard Bench | Keyboard Pedal | Studio Monitor Headphones
  • Authentic to the touch: Yamaha's GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted action has heavier touch in the low end and lighter touch in the high end, just like the hammers inside an acoustic piano. Great for the aspiring pianist, practicing on the GHS action builds the proper finger technique for when the time comes to perform on an acoustic piano. Plus the matte finish of the black keys are less slippery when playing for extended periods of time.
  • Tried and true, Yamaha's classic sound engine for realistic tone: AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) sampling uses digital technology to record the sound of an acoustic piano. AWM Stereo Sampling creates a deeper, richer and more spacious sound by using pairs of waveforms (L and R) captured with two microphones. The P-45 uses AWM to play one sample per key at varying levels of volume and timbre.
  • A compact and lightweight design makes it easy to get around: Slim and stylish form with a depth of less than 12 inches, the P-45 requires little space. At only 25 lbs. with a built-in sound system, it can be easily moved anywhere in your home or even used for performance outside.
  • Simple, single-button operation: Various P-45 settings can be changed with a single button. Hold down the "GRAND PIANO/FUNCTION" button and press the keyboard to change Voices, play demo sources, configure the metronome and more.

  • Unpacked, set up and NO sound!
I was so looking forward to this keyboard. It arrived today, in 3 boxes- keyboard, stand and stool, and headphones packed separately. Got it unpacked and set up, pushed the power button and NO sound! The only way I could get sound was through the headphones. Contacted Yamaha support, who walked me through a factory reset, but still nothing. They said it must be an internal issue. So after all the unpacking, we had to repack it within a couple of hours to return. The worst part is I was not given the opportunity to contact seller first. I wanted to ask about returning the keyboard only for a replacement. I tried, but Amazon directed me to do the return first, which generated the return label. So now it all goes back, and I will need to decide whether I want to chance another order. Not happy. ... show more

  • Great Keyboard but skip the kit
As an adult re-learner, I wanted something that was reasonably priced with weighted keys to simulate the acoustic piano feeling. This digital piano does that. The touch is great. It sounds great when wearing earphones. However, the sound is muffled when coming from the speakers, which would be unacceptable for performers, but f you're just learning for personal enjoyment, it's probably fine. More often than not, I just play with earphones on. The MIDI input jack is a great feature. It's been invaluable in terms of taking lessons from an app. Overall, I'm very happy with the piano itself. In terms of the rest of the kit, it's not worth it unless you plan to travel with the keyboard. The bench is really narrow and could tip back if you're not careful. Additionally, there was a bit of movement with the keyboard on the stand. I ended up buying the Yamaha L85 Keyboard Stand which is way more stable and makes the keyboard look more like a real piano. I also bought a proper piano bench with a hinged seat for music storage. The headphones are fine, but you can do better. The one thing I really like about the headphones is that they have an adapter that fits into the keyboard's input that can also be used with other earphones. If you wear glasses, these headphones press on the arms, which gets uncomfortable. I often use my Apple earbuds with the adapter instead. The pedal is the one thing that's better than the one that comes with the piano, but if you're a beginning piano student, you're not going to be using the pedal much, if at all, so not a big deal. ... show more

  • I got what I paid for! And love it
or the beginner and intermediate level like me. Easy to set up and I canโ€™t get enough to play and touch it. And the ear phone is so good. It is a match. One last thing is they delivered to the front door earlier than I expected. ๐Ÿ‘

  • Best pre-pandemic purchase ever!
I've been playing piano for 30 years and this is the best keyboard I have ever used! Its weighted keys are perfect to replicate the feeling of a real piano. I have used it to teach piano to my young students, and they are gaining confidence quickly. This bundle is great because it comes with everything that you would need and more. I really have no complaints! One of the biggest benefits in my opinion is that they are not too many bells and whistles. It has a few pre-recorded songs, and a couple of different sounds, but really it is a weighted keyboard piano. It's great for the casual player, and for the new student. Especially if you don't have room to store a real piano! Other big bonus, no need to tune it! Ends up saving you a lot of money in the long run. ... show more

  • Good piano
I have played piano for 25 years and I was very impressed with the sound of this piano. The keys; if you're playing an electric piano, it's never going to feel like a real piano. However I do have to say that the "feel" on this piano is more than acceptable in my book. There are sensitivity settings, so you can adjust to your preference. The stand/bench set; it's ok. The stand worried me at first (it's a little flimsy) but seems to do the job. The height seems a little off to me, I'm 6' and I have the stand as low as it can go and it's still a bit above where I prefer. But it works. In retrospect, I might have just bought this stuff separate. The sustain pedal; mine came with 2. Works ok but don't expect the same results that a 3 pedal gives you. Overall I recommend this piano if you're on a tight budget or don't have room for a grand piano (who does right). Enjoy! ... show more

  • The keyboard is great. The stool and stand, not so much.
We are just learning the keyboard but do like it. But we are not using the stool or stand. The stand isnโ€™t sturdy enough for the big keyboard and is not adjustable enough. Neither is the stool. They both need to be more adjustable- either the stand needs to go lower or the stool needs to be higher. My husband is 5โ€™8โ€ and Iโ€™m 5โ€™3โ€ and neither of us can put our hand placement correctly as we canโ€™t get the stand low enough or stool high enough. We have the keyboard on our dining room table and are going to purchase another taller stool. So donโ€™t spend extra for these two items. The stand is also not built for the big keyboard- it fits but there is no way to secure it and if you bumped it, well, disaster... ... show more

  • great digital piano
I was amazed to hear how much this digital piano resemble to the real piano. The keys also feel very similar to the real one, except that here the stronger pressure does not result in much louder sound. Perhaps the max volume of this piano is a bit low, but it is perfect for my tiny apartment. However, it would totally need an extra speaker for a larger room. I love to use the headphones (which give very clear sound) so I can practice my same tunes over and over again without disturbing the neighbors. The chair is pretty solid and looks nice, but unfortunately its hight cannot be adjusted. The stand is pretty good too, but the piano is not really fixed into it, but just placed on the top of it. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It was delivered quickly and it was all easy to set it up and start playing. ... show more
