  • Coming from a Behringer Q502USB this thing rocks
Style: 3-Channel Mixer / 1 Microphone
8/17/2019 update ********* Still working as good as the day I bought it... Using it with the q2u still (might get a rode podmic) and jbl studio monitors. I do not do any kind of studio recording or whatever. I use this audio interface only to use my mic to talk on discord, in-game vc, etc. and to play music from my PC (occasionally my tv) **** 1 year~ UPDATE *** It's been about a year and this interface hasn't given me a single issue and I have no regrets about paying as much as I did. I wish I could have gotten my hands on some white LRS305's, but no luck.. I'm really glad this interface was a white color.. I'm tired of everything being black. I've also switched to using a Samson Q2U Handheld Dynamic microphone because I wanted to use a dynamic mic for less background noise and it's been working great with that mic, as well. Keep in mind that its layout might not be as compact if you're going to be putting it on a desk.. I have a pretty large desk, so it's not that big of a problem.. but something like a Steinberg UR22mkII might be better for smaller spaces. ALSO, I have a chromecast audio connected to the AUX port which allows me to play/control music via my Google Home Mini or phone if I'm in bed.. sort of another nice/extra feature. ________________________________________________________________________ I previously purchased a Behringer Q502USB to use along side my AT2020... For the longest time I thought the Q502USB had 45v of phantom power, but it didn't. I had always just turned the mix volume and gain up really high. After testing and seeing it only provided 14~v I switched to another simple $30 audio interface that provided 45v. I wanted more features and I had used the scarlett 2i2 and wasn't impressed at all.. dunno why ppl rave about that interface. I thought it was noisy and very limited in features. I finally decided I would not cheap out on an audio mixer/interface and found this. Huge pro.. it has an actual on/off button unlike all the other mixers I've used. The buttons and knobs are all extremely solid. It feels amazingly well built and I just feel very confident with it. The only problem I had was figuring out that the Fader adjustment didn't work with DRY CH 1-2G.. it only works with the other two modes. I really wish I had just started out by purchasing this mixer. Would have saved a lot of time, money, and frustration. It also comes with some software which is a huge plus.. none of the behringer products I used came with anything. I'm currently only using it with an AT2020 xlr mic and a logitech 231 headset.. I will be getting some JBL monitors soon to use with it. I would highly recommend this mixer.. though, I've only had it for a few days... things could go wrong in the future, so I will update if anything bad happens whilst using it. It would have been nice if it had come with a USB outlet plug for mobile use. ... show more

  • Okay Interface albeit low audio output & flawed khz in basic windows application
Style: 6-Channel Mixer / 2 Microphone
- Pro - *Good number of Inputs with a low Watt usage *Functional with Mobile devices via USB Micro (not USB Mini or USB Type B or USB Type C) *Input Mix mode is great for streamers that what music playing via a RCA input or a Guitar/keyboard via Instrument/Line input while talking. (IE for karaoke like moments or for an interlude moments without need to tell your Software to switch inputs or play on your desktop) *Bundled with Steinberg Cubase LE DAW software (Digital Audio Workstation) which isn't my cup of tea as I'm into Presonus Studio One. However all that said its free & good software. *The AG DSP Controller software allows you to modify your Mixer Effects more then the effects on the hardware (only for Windows & Mac) - Cons - *Default audio rates in Windows 10 64bit aren't 24bit/92khz but 24bit/44khz. (This means us recording audio straight into Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve 15 or Your Screen Recording Software will result in audio @ 44khz... You need to record straight into a DAW to get 92khz) *Like above default audio rates on Mobile Devices is 16bit/44khz at-least from my testing in FL Studio. This could be a limit of FL Studio however Yahama doesn't list any specific apps that might get higher audio rates. *Audio Output is much lower then my other Hardware like NI Audio 6 & Behringer UMC202HD (IE Recordings from Yahama AG06 put side by side from another audio interface reveals lower audio levels on AG06) ... show more

  • Versatile little mixer for streaming, recording, or just being your soundcard
Style: 6-Channel Mixer / 2 Microphone
I bought this back in early 2016 and it's been my primary soundcard for my PC ever since. I originally bought it as a way to hear my computer, record player, and keyboard from the same speakers at the same time. It's turned into so much more over the years with its versatility. I have an AT2020 plugged in to channel 1 that I've been using for all this zooming we do in 2020. It's absolutely perfect for the job and works well for game chat as well. I plug in a second mic into channel 2 when I game with others. I love the loopback feature and have used it like other describe. Anything on your computer can make as a sound can be recorded or broadcast, and the quality is perfect. I also use the USB recording for my keyboard or vinyl. I usually have an Echo Dot plugged into the AUX jack which is convenient to hear her over the bigger speakers. Just remember to unplug her when recording, she will be recorded or broadcast, she's also probably my noisiest input. It's worth noting that mixer will work as long as it has USB power, and for me that has worked during reboots on the PC and even with the PC powered off as I chose a port that has power for charging all the time. This allows me to listen to music even with the computer off (or just doing updates on it), and it also doesn't have noises or pops when the PC is powered on or the mixer powers on. On top of all the features, the sound quality is amazing. Has no noise that I can hear, is not susceptible to USB noise from the PC, and doesn't pickup RF interference either. It's basically as flat as you could ever ask for in a mixer. It makes a great headphone amp, I use it with a set of Grado SR225e. I also have speakers attached, and it's nice to be able to do both simultaneously. I think the only weirdness I've noticed is you need to add the Steinburg drivers to get 24-bit and/or better than 48khz sample rates. As Win10 does the 6-month updates this has required periodic maintenance to keep working. But it's also a one-time thing and then you don't touch it until Microsoft breaks it on the next refresh. I have mine set to 24-bit/96khz. Basically overkill for most of what I do but hasn't shown to have any latency or other issues on my PC. TL;DR - it's versatile, has a great loopback feature, works awesome for Zoom, Discord, or whatever, and sounds really good. ... show more
