Review June 2017: I absolutely love YALUXE Women's Soft Leather Work Tote Shoulder Bag (Upgraded 2.0). It fits everything that I need it to, it's cute, and I'm hoping it's going to be durable. It's perfect for everything I need to carry around for my work. I am able to fit my 13.3" laptop (which is 12" long plus a 1/2" flashdrive with more than two inches to spare), multiple folders, multiple journals, large water bottle, pens/postits/mouse/computer charger/toiletries, there's a nice pocket I put my lip balm in, the key strap, plus the front pocket fits my phone, hand sanitizer and mini clorox wipes. Depending on where the water bottle is in my bag, it can be a little difficult to zip shut (if the bottle is closer to where the zipper starts, it zips fine), but the zipper works nicely and has fabric so that it pulls shut over everything inside easily. The material is nice, wipes off easy. I'm hoping it'll hold up to me wiping the bottom with clorox wipes (I go in and out of nursing homes/patient homes). I also used it for a festival/fireworks and carried around my large towel and sun hat, I think it's a really cute purse for casual stuff as well as work. Because of how much I carry around, the straps can hurt if I carry it for too long, but that's most likely just because it weighs a ton. But I'm hoping the straps will hold up because they're sewn all the way down, and I love how long the straps are because I can easily pull out stuff while the purse is on my shoulder. I love that this purse actually fits everything I need it to, and also has room to pile things in on top if I need the space and don't need to shut it. I would definitely recommend this bag if you're looking to carry a lot of stuff around with you! *Update March 2018: I've used this bag pretty much every work day for the last 7 months or so, and I'm still really happy with it! It sometimes gets a weird white line around the bottom, maybe from setting it places where there's salt from the winter or from wiping it with a clorox wipe? Whatever the cause, it wipes right off with a little bit of water! The edges of the straps are splitting, but this is just at the top of the straps and is just the outer rubber liner thing. The straps themselves are intact and still feel super sturdy. I throw my bag around a lot and shove it on my shoulder with guitar case straps, and wipe it with clorox wipes, so I could have expedited this cracking process. I'm still not bothered by it though, because it's not noticeable, is only at the top, and the leather itself is still sturdy. I expect the bag to continue to last for a while. All in all, still super happy with it and intend to buy another one at some point so I can be sure to have a replacement whenever the day comes I need a new one, since I spent a long time hunting for this bag!

This is perfect for me. I was looking for something that would wipe clean, hold a lot, look nice, match everything and last a long time. This fits the bill and it does look even better than the pictures. I wasn't expecting a brown interior but I like it so no biggie and I might just have not looked at the pictures well enough. I'd recommend for sure!

I almost never write lengthy reviews. But, I think Yaluxe is a good company, so I'll share my experience. I discovered Yaluxe several years ago. My initial purchase was a small black leather RFID wallet, which lasted 4 years of daily heavy use (including daily disinfection by Lysol wipes during the course of the pandemic). Since then, I have purchased two leather wallets in various colors, a leather wristlet, a nylon laptop bag, a nylon tote bag, and two nylon fanny packs. I have found that Yaluxe produces affordable and reliable quality nylon and leather items with good workmanship, durability, and strong hardware (zippers and fobs have never given me any trouble). In terms of quality of materials used, I think their goods are on the same level as other name brands with higher prices (i.e., LeSport Sac, The Sak, Baggalini, Kipling, AK, and Calvin Klein). The current bag is no different in quality. It is lined with polyester material (not a thin crunchy plastic lining). The zippers seem to work well and the straps are made of leather, with a decent enough length that one could easily carry over the shoulder while wearing a heavy winter coat. My only concern about the straps is that since they are leather, they will fray, as all leather straps eventually begin to fray at the edges. My original Yaluxe nylon tote bag is the 1st edition created by Yaluxe. It is completely made of black nylon with a polyester inner lining and even the straps are made of nylon. That bag has been used heavily for nearly 5 years and the straps have never frayed. I wish Yaluxe would consider producing that bag again. Overall, you can't go wrong with Yaluxe!

I really like the simplicity and versatility of this tote bag. I bring this to clinic (I work in medicine) and it fits a lot. I like that it has different pockets inside, and I especially love the key-holder-- my keys get lost constantly, so that's been super handy! A few complaints--- although I like the zipper, when I fill the bag almost completely, the zipper can easily come off the track or not close completely. In addition, a lot of the items easily fall out of the small pockets inside the bag. The only functionality I think this bag could really benefit from is the addition of a cross-body strap. I know it isn't really designed for it, but I bike to work often and it's pretty difficult trying to keep a bag on one shoulder (versus have it across my back with a strap). I still give this a 4 star rating however, because it is versatile, attractive, overall does the job and has held up well so far, and is reasonably priced.

I was looking for a daily lightweight tote to carry my work laptop, a notebook, a pair of flats, a travel makeup bag, and a blazer. This bag fits everything and even has room left. The wristlet that was included makes it easy to grab my wallet and phone on the go when I need to make a quick run to store. It looks good, it’s affordable and it’s waterproof, not water resistant. I’ve been looking for the perfect work tote and this is it. Its well made and super sturdy. I’ve bought expensive totes before this and I am never going back.
