This curtain set is much more sheer than I thought they would be. I bought them for their room. Darkening properties but as you can see from my photo, light definitely gets through. The window on the right. Has the shade down behind it, the window on the left does not and you can see the light. They look good but if you're looking for something to block light or to insulate your room, these are not it. ... show more

Buy what is recommended. I ordered twice, 2nd set the price went up some. Then I wanted to buy 1 more set for bedroom window but the price went way up. So I did not. The sliding glass door has 3 panels and could have used 1 more. I used the extra for the window, however with blinds even it's a bit see through. It does brighten the room compared to dark black, which is ok and will have to do. Sky Blue is the color. ... show more
