I was skeptical but these curtains have made me a believer. You can definitely tell the temperature difference between the room that has these blackout curtains and a room that doesn't. I love in a 110-year-old home and these beautiful gray curtains are certainly helping to keep my room cool on these hot summer days. I'm hoping they do the same by holding in the heat during the winter months. They were a little wrinkled coming out of the packaging but once hung, they straightened right out. So far, they do not appear to be collecting an abundance of pet hair from the critters manning their post to protect us from delivery drivers and mail carriers. I am over the top pleased with these blackout curtains. I got them in grey and they are perfect! They need a little once over with a steamer after you hang them up, but pretty much wrinkle free. Honestly, I feel like the price is too cheap for these curtains....that's how happy I am for them. My husband used to work nights, so had some up in his window when we met. They were expensive. I feel that the Yakamok Room Darkening Gray Blackout Curtains trumps his costly ones. Plus, they look really nice! ... show more

I could not be more pleased with these Yakamok light blocking curtains. I got two sets for this window on for the large center on then the other pair I put one on each side. After about a week the wrinkles did come out. In this window the sun comes directly in and these curtains are perfect taking out a goof 90-99% of the light and easily enough that I have to turn on the light in the room. This product over delivered. Being a white curtain, I expected some light to come through......but Absolutely no light comes through. The temperature of the room stays very comfortable when the curtains are closed while the sun is shining in the window.
