This case fits my needs perfectly. I just use this for home purposes only and not travel with it. However as sturdy as I think this is for home use I cannot see this item holding up well for lugging around or going up/down stairs on a constant basis. That being said I absolutely love all the space and stuff that I can cram in this case. All the pieces stack up perfectly. I believe that the sides and bottoms of each section are made of a wood or wood type product and are lined with black fabric. The insert with the removable insert are adjustable and well padded to suit anyone's needs and is completely removable if I chose to not use it at all. The buckles open and close well. I have no reason to use the locks on it but the locks don't really seem like they would really lock anything in or out. They are very light duty and would not hold up at all during travel either. The wheels are easy to snap on and seem sturdy on bare floors. The wheels do drag a little on low pile carpet so I am a little more careful with it when I am on carpet. The case is a handsome looking piece and should last as long as I use it for lighter duties at home versus taking it out regularly.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely amazing!! As a freelance mua I’ve been looking for a good train case and this one is soo perfect for the best price!! I ordered on Wednesday the 25th but needed it by this weekend so I asked the seller if the shipping could be expedited. They messaged back within a few hours saying it would arrive the 27th instead of the 30th!! I would definitely purchase from them again!! And I highly recommend this to everyone!! It fits everything in my kit, including my 2 sets of brushes and my 10 inch ring light with extra space left in every compartment!! It does stand tall and can have some weight to it but it is very sturdy and is a major upgrade from my previous plastic bin I was using before!

I purchased this not for storing and organizing makeup, but rather, for storing and organizing art supplies. I am NOT disappointed. I have reduced my collection of storage boxes to almost nothing, thanks to this rolling case. I absolutely love the trays that swing out in the top case, and the removable tray in the 2nd/3rd case. I love that the removable tray is made so that you can alter the storage compartments to your own needs. There are a few issues I've come across, which is why I've only provided 4 stars. The first may be due in part to the items I store. It might be that a collection of various art supplies weighs more than makeup and beauty supplies. But I have issues pulling this cart out of the space in which it lives. The thing likes to tip a little as if the wheels are not large enough or their placement it not adequate to support the case properly. Once I get it pulled out, pushing it works much better. This leads me to the handle. I don't feel that it is strong enough to support the weight of the case therefore, I don't use it. It is simply attached at the bottom case and then secured with a velcro strap on the top case. This is necessary due to the stacking aspect of the cases. However, I feel a strap on each case, or at least one more in the middle would help somewhat. Additionally, I feel as if a handle on the sides of each case, would be absolutely helpful. This would help to move it out of its storage area, but would also be beneficial to the artist working while sitting so that they could pull the case closer. Additionally, it would give you something to grasp when lifting each detachable case from the stack. And, it is sometimes difficult to line the cases just right when stacking and securing them. It takes a few tries to do this. One other thing to note; the latches on the sides are a bit flimsy in that they are attached to the simple plastic outer case. The case itself could be made of a sturdier material, or the latches could be better secured with a strong metal plate on the inside of the case.

This thing holds so much stuff plus it was the perfect height for me to work from. We do pageants and I was hating constantly bending down to get things out of bags or off the floor so bought this to be able to bring things up to waist height. It made pageant day so much easier. I wasn't constantly up and down to get hair things, make up, etc. I spread out the top, laid everything out and it worked great. The compartments underneath, I used to store curling irons, mirrors, bows shoes....all the stuff that would normally go in our pack to rack bag went into this and I could actually fit all our garment bags then into the pack and rack. The only thing that I did not like about this case and it's not huge issue, but when you take the levels apart, to put them back together, they have to get lined back up perfectly which was a bit of a learning curve. They just self guide themselves into place by the edges on the framing. You have to wiggle them until they are just right. It would be nice if in future redesigns by the company if the would do something with those edges to make them easier to stack back on.

I just received it today and couldn't wait to put my items in it. It is perfect for an on the go hair stylist. The bottom holds hair dryer and hot tools perfectly. Another compartment holds a box of foils and or gloves. I have room for my shears and clippers in the next compartment . And the top opens up perfectly for combs,clips and smaller items. I don't put color products in this, or items that would spill as I would prefer to carry those in a tote, but if you chose to do that you could make it work. This cosmetic train is very stylish and appears to be durable. I will be putting it to the test!!
