This is an adorable purse! The material is a thin, flexible, and soft denim, with faux leather on the bottom. The purse has golden accents, including a doe charm on the front, and doubled golden chain straps covered with faux leather. The closure is magnetic, and the inside has a polyester, windbreaker-like material. it makes a rustling paper sound when the purse opens or when you set things in it. The outside of the purse is constructed very nicely, with frayed denim accents between some of the diamond and star patterns. The inside isn’t sewn as great as the outside, and there are some long threads or odd stitching patterns. Overall, it’s not the biggest deal as no one will be able to see it. The purse has a deep inside— no pockets/zippers— and you would be able to put your keys, phone, wallet, and many other items inside with no issues. I bought this denim shoulder bag for my preteen, thinking it would be a cute retro‑style jean bag with the star pattern and 90s vibe. Unfortunately, the material is thin and feels cheap, and the bag has almost no structure. With the rectangular shape and the way it’s made, it just folds in on itself in a very unflattering way instead of holding its shape like a tote. If it had been advertised as a soft, slouchy boho bag, the lack of structure might have made more sense, but that’s not really how it comes across in the pictures or description. In the meantime, the deer "hardware" on the front of the bag has fallen off as well. This is just not a well put together bag. My daughter really tried to make the bag work for a while, but it ultimately got tossed aside. Overall, it’s a cute concept that doesn’t quite deliver in quality or construction. ... show more
