My daughter has been wanting one of these since well before Christmas. This did not disappoint for her 5th birthday. Sound is fine (not a xylophonie, nor a musician). Music sheets are relatively simple. The cover can be difficult to open for small hands, other than that I would buy again.

Bought this instrument to introduce my granddaughter to a musical instrument that's both easy to use and sturdy enough to be handled by a toddler. Although she's way to young to produce music, I've encouraged her to use it. I play the simple melodies that come with the instrument and we sing together for a short time when she visits. Got this for my 5-year old boys and it was a hit. High quality and love the music included. My 14-year-old daughter and I had lots of fun with it too! The only reason I gave it four stars is because I couldn't see the notes on the keys. Maybe they could be etched in darker. Otherwise, money very well spent.
