Make sure that you don't overinflate your paddle board or other device or you could burst it. If you already have that pump, this is perfect. If you don't there's a bunch of SUP pumps with the right interface to consider as well. They'll be advertised on this same page.

I needed this to inflate our SUPS instead of getting the workout from the hand pump. Love that it comes with the little tool to remove the needle - I had no idea what it was for until I read another review. So it might be nice to include that in the description somewhere. But anyhow - I attached this to my compressor - no leaks, no fuss, and a full SUP in about 5 minutes. It's also nice that it does have the needle, it you need it to inflate other types of valves!

Anyone whose inflated a paddle board using the hand pump that comes with it will tell you it's a pain. It's time consuming and takes a lot of energy. This adapter is a real timesaver. It connects to your paddleboard in the same way as the standard hand pump, but then it allows you to use a compressor or air tank with a tire-filling attachment to inflate the board. Or, you can use a battery or AC-powered electric inflator. Many units allow you to specify the target pressure, which means you can just hook everything up, set the desired pressure, and turn on the inflator. Then you can grab a sandwich or do something else while your paddle board is inflating. There are no instructions included, but it's pretty straightforward and easy to figure out. Some people might not know what the included metal thingy is for. Using this tool, you can remove the valve stem from the adapter before you begin inflation. This allows air to enter the paddle board faster, and will save you some inflation time. You can inflate without removing the valve, but it will take a little longer. This is a great device, and I recommend it.
