I got white ones to coordinate with her room decor as well as not make the room feel too crowded. They are fully light blocking, even in white. I like the gray liner; it doesn't contrast with the white curtain like the black liners do but still does a great job thermally. The media could not be loaded. These black out curtains are exceptional at blocking light, heat, cold, and deadening outside noise a bit. The fabric is nice and soft with a suede-like appearance, and the sewn in tie-backs are a nice touch. The grommets at the top allow the curtains to easily open and close, and the curtains are overall well made. The backing is a white mesh, but the back of the actual curtain is black so the white appears more grey/silver. For reference, the color is Cappuccino, and the length is 72”. The curtains themselves are not too heavy so they hang nicely. The curtains are very wrinkled when taken out of the packaging so I ironed both sides, without lingering too long in one spot, on a cotton setting with steam. Overall, the curtains have been wonderful for blocking light, heat, and noise and are an excellent value for the cost. ... show more

These blackout curtains exceeded my expectations. They completely block out sunlight—even during the brightest part of the day—which has made a huge difference in our sleep, especially for naps and early mornings. The room stays pitch black! On top of that, they noticeably reduce outside noise. We live near a busy street, and these curtains have made the room much quieter and more peaceful. Another bonus is the insulation. They’ve helped keep the room cooler during hot afternoons and seem to keep warmth in during chilly mornings, so we’re using the AC and heater less. They’re thick, well-made, and hang beautifully.     • Lovely quality but CANNOT get the wrinkles out of the fabric

The color is true to the swatch shown on the Amazon page. We have washed the curtains two times and they still look wrinkled. Our dryer even has a steam setting which should aid in the removal of wrinkles. The sage green is lovely, and te curtains certainly are black out.
