I received the three piece auger extensions on time and in good condition. Unfortunately, these extensions shaft bores were to small at 3/4 inch to fit the EGO's Earth Auger 7/8 inch shaft. This is no fault of the seller. I was mislead by Amazon's accessory 'Customer also bought' that these bits would fit the EGO Earth Auger. I also blame the lack of description of the shaft size in the specifications for the EGO Earth Auger which I also purchase from Amazon. These auger extensions fit on the Ryobi 40V earth auger. They are a tight fit which what you want in a power screw application. Set comes with extra shear pins and cotter pins. Functionally, no issues with those. They're so small when apart, they could easily be lost. I'd recommend a set that are wired together. ... show more

We were using this to dig 4 foot post holes in our yard. We were almost there when the extension pole failed, leaving the auger blades in the hole below ground level. VERY difficult to retrieve. This should not have failed. As you can see in the picture, it is still attached to the auger - the extension itself failed. This could have caused injury. It is, of course, 29 days past the return window as we had not been able to use it right away. Since this seems to be the only extension for this auger, I would suggest that you look at purchasing a different product. Very disappointed. ... show more
