Handy to have
Size: Extension Set
When I bought my Auger, I didn't realize that the bit was only 22", not enough for fence post holes. The 12" extension was perfect, and gave me exactly what I needed. One note, not even enough to drop a star -- each extension has a pin and clevis pin included. But when I unwrapped mine, the clevis pin for the 8" extension was missing. A minor irritation, but thought I'd mention it. I'm sure Tractor Supply, Home Depot or others will have one. If not, Amazon probably does.

Peace of mind
Size: Extension Set
The rods or extensions are strong enough to hold the center male end of the auger. I’m very pleased with product. They help with my back pain. I don’t have to bend over. I can stand upright.

Amazing auger for the price and convenience
Size: Extension Set
This electric suger exceeded my expectations. It has lots of power for a fairly lightweight auger. Let it dig easy and it'll do the job. Put pressure on it and it will twist your arms off.

Set works with Ryobi auger
Size: Extension Set
These auger extensions fit on the Ryobi 40V earth auger. They are a tight fit which what you want in a power screw application. Set comes with extra shear pins and cotter pins. Functionally, no issues with those. They're so small when apart, they could easily be lost. I'd recommend a set that are wired together.

Defective weld
Size: Extension Set
The 20 inch extension worked for a short while and then the weld on the male end of the extension simply failed. Clearly the weld was defective or insufficient, otherwise it would not have separated from the main shaft so quickly and easily. It seems that a replacement extension would be in order.
