Reaching 6 inches in height, this plain toe outdoor boot is constructed with hand-layered rubber, which is not classified as a commercial grade rubber, but is waterproof and delivers on slip-on-and-go styling. I know that these Xtratuf Men's 6 Inch Ankle Deck Boots are designed to be used in commercial or sport fishing, but I grabbed a pair to have for rainy days where I just needed shoes that wouldn't get soaked on rainy days. I really don't like to have to wear traditional rain boots because they are difficult to put on and generally overkill for just daily activities. I generally would just tough it out with my regular shoes and wind up with wet feet. After searching for low-profile rain boots, I came across these boots and purchased them immediately. These deck boots proved to be a great alternative right out of the box. They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities. In fact, I use them when I take my kids tidepooling and creekwalking. Since they are low tops, they breathe easily and don't make my feet hot or sweaty with physical activity. Can't say how much I love these boots. I wanted a pair for a long time but everywhere I look they were so expensive. Amazon had them so much cheaper than anywhere else. And the exact same boots. I have large feet so boots are hard for me to find that fit well. Try these on in the store and love them but couldn't afford the price. I use cushions inside of them, this is my 2nd pair! I keep the at back door on sun porch which maybe is not so good because setting in sun all day everyday appears hard on them.

Very comfortable and keeps feet dry and cool. I would have given 5 stars, however boots are a little narrow and I do not normally wear a wide in any shoes. Maybe with more wear they will expand a little more.

Great product we love Xtra Tuff perfect for Fall beach walks or just walking on the dew laden grass. We love, love, love these boots. The rear reflectors are also helpful for visibility when walking our dogs at night.

My husband owns a market. He carries everything from groceries to seafood to meat. He recks his shoes constantly, they are always wet and smell so bad! I make him keep them outside, but have a pile of shoes outside my door. It drives me crazy! I bought these boots to avoid constantly buying new sneakers for him. My husband loves these boots and so do I. When he gets home, I am able to hose them down, and they dry for the next day. All of the yucky meat and seafood blood/water washes right off along with the smell. We are BOTH very happy with this purchase.
