These waterproof 6-inch boots have loops affixed to the vamp and ankle, helping you to place. Inside the boots have an XPRESSCOOL cooling liner that keeps feet comfortable in both cool and warm environments. An SRA-rated, slip-resisting outsole composed of an an exclusive rubber compound grips the floor surface, providing sure footing. This boot is constructed with hand-layered rubber, and so not classified as an XTRATUF commercial grade boot. These are really great boots if you have to get in the water or the boot slurping mud. Easy to slip on in a hurry and trudge through whatever life throws your way. I have a very good friend who spent a lot of his life in Alaska. When I was getting ready to make a trip to Alaska, he recommended that I get these deck boots so that I would look like a local. 😁. That was two years ago and I’ve gone through two pair. The first pair split on the outside after about 12 months. The second pair split in the exact same spot which is basically on the top of the right boot just in front of where your arch would be. This pair also started to come apart where the sole of the boot is attached to the upper by rubber. To me, they do not seem to hold up very well, but I will also be buying another pair because they are incredibly comfortable. I’ve even found myself wearing them basically like tennis shoes with shorts in the summer just around the house. They’re more comfortable than converse. Maybe they just aren’t made for the heat of the southern United States, but they are waterproof, they do run a smidge big, they look a little goofy, and they are probably my favorite boots. Size wise I typically wear a 10 or a 10 1/2 and I ordered these in a 10 and they are a little bit large but not to the point of creating blisters ... show more
