The Contractor Series 155+/300 Telescoping Ladder represents our top of the line telescoping ladder, designed specifically for the most demanding professionals. We started with the 15.5 foot reach and 300 lb. ANSI Type IA rating of our Professional Series telescoping ladder, and then improved upon it with specific enhancements for professionals that require the best tools to do their jobs. The angled rungs make the ladder more comfortable to stand upon for extended periods of time. The 300 duty rating makes this our tallest ladder with ANSI 2019 certification of Type IA and OSHA approved for contractors working on job sites. This ladder is durable, easy to transport and carry even on the most punishing job sites. Like all of our extending ladders. The ladder weighs 40 lbs. and closes to 36.5 inches. We designed the Contractor series 155+/300 telescoping ladder to meet the needs of our most demanding contractors and professionals. This latter is surprising sturdy and the flexing is very minor during use. Frankly the flexing is less than I expected. The one thing to be very careful of is when retracting the steps fall very quickly and under a lot of weight. Be sure to have your hand and where near where the latter falls to as it will pinch your skin. It can cause an injury. That is why this is a 4 star rating vs 5. ... show more

It's everything it hoped it to be. At 285lbs this has no trouble with my weight! I get a ladder in & out of my truck 5-10 a day... This is sufficient for 80% of everything I need... The remaining 20 % just needs a taller ladder. Words of advice... Don't be distracted when your putting this away or you'll pinch the skin between your forefinger & thumb. Making the ladder longer is not an issue, but making it shorter is. I used this only a few times before it stopped completely closing. The bottom 2-3 rungs just get really stuck and you look like an idiot trying to carry a half collapsed ladder back to the car. It's now collecting dust in my garage and I've gone back to my trusty Werner ladder. ... show more

Super sturdy design, solid telescoping parts, I feel safe when fully extended on top. Would highly recommend. The buttons are sometimes hard to depress but I imagine they will work in with time.
