I honestly went into this purchase with some skepticism. Things like this always look great until you get them home and find out they either don't work or don't fit as advertised. I'm using this with a standalone Bluetooth keyboard that came with my iMac. It's my understanding that this will work with Apple laptops as well, but as I don't own one, I can't speak to its effectiveness with laptops. With my keyboard, it fits perfectly and doesn't obstruct using the keyboard for normal typing. As I said, I was fairly skeptical that this would fit properly, and even more skeptical that you could leave it in place when doing things besides using Logic Pro X, but I was pleasantly surprised. The thickness of the cover is much thinner than I expected, but still has enough weight to it to stay in place. It doesn't seem to move around much at all, even when just typing into another application. With the cover on the keyboard, it actually looks like it's a single keyboard. If you didn't know it was a cover, you wouldn't guess by looking at it. The feel of the cover is a bit slicker than I expected. I expected the silicone to have a "sticky" feel to it that would impede you from moving your fingers around the keyboard during normal typing, and that I'd have to constantly take the cover on and off whenever I switched tasks. I was pleasantly surprised to find this isn't the case at all. It feels fine when typing, and I believe I'll be able to leave the cover on permanently. With the handiness of the labeled shortcuts for Logic Pro X, I believe I'll save a lot of time, as I've never really been able to find the spare brain power to memorize the shortcuts. I’m not big on leaving feedback for everything but Wow !!!! Talk about making life a little easier. I just started using Logic Pro x and need to learn the commands. This cover with commands fit perfectly over my aluminum wireless keyboard for my Mac mini. Thin enough to feel the keyboard but looks and feels like it’s made well. Only time will tell but I’m very excited about this keyboard skin at the moment !!! ... show more

I like it, if for no other reason, ppl look at it and wonder why my keyboard is color coded...LOL! it helps to keep your fingers clean though because if you leave it on and close your laptop, it may some smudge on the screen...that could happen i guess even without this cover thingy.
