These taillights are easy to install, look great, and are bright. The lights are much better quality than the factory lights that come with the car and use light bulbs. These lights don't use lightbulbs so I suppose they are intended to last longer and save me time and money on replacing the lightbulbs. ... show more

    • Great value and customer service
UPDATED! Xprite contacted me after seeing my review and offered a replacement fully knowing that these were 3 years old and out of warranty. So plus one star for the outstanding customer support. Also, I should note that I did go ahead and bought the JW Speaker only to find the hyper flashing. It’s really more of 2007 JK thing — sensitive to resistance changes. Also, I tried to contact JW Speaker and got nowhere so ... for all of you who say you get better service with a US product, my experience so far seems the opposite. So another star added for the fact that this more of a Jeep thing (especially the 07 and early 08s) and not an issue with the Xprite. I’ll update the review again if they have improved the brightness but these are smoked so you have to consider that these are intentionally darker. Also, a lot of complaints about water. I love in Florida and the summer rains are really intense. My Jeep sits outside. In the 3 years, zero water / condensation in these lights. — (orig review) For the price, these are decent but a few things to note from someone that has had these installed for 3 years (2016) now: 1) Brightness is not great. These are somewhat dim and will get worse over time. 2) These come with resistors to prevent hyper blinking but the resistors are very cheap. I ended up replacing it with a iJDMToy resistor, which are much higher quality, and finally solved the hyper blinking. 3) After 3 years the plastic is showing a lot of wear and tear. In fact, the smoked lens now looks like someone took a bat to it with hundreds of micro cracks. To be clear, the fact that these held up for 3 years and for the price, I can't really complain. They are a significant improvement over stock and are super easy to install. It is however time to replace them now and I'm going to splurge and upgrade to the JW Speaker 279 series tail lights. ... show more

Well made and look great. We've had these on our Jeep for a few years and they hold up through all kinds of weather in the midwest. I ordered this set for a 2nd Jeep JKU we picked up recently. The reverse lights aren't the brightest, but still better than stock.

Ordered these for my 2015 Jeep jku, to replace th stock tail lights. These are brite and look great. Installation was easy and they work perfectly with my year jeep. Haven't had any problems or fogging up. I wash it all the time.

These tail lights were very easy to install... True "plug & play." The only issue I had was missing 2 of the small screws and brackets that hold the voltage ballasts. I was able to secure them with one screw each...hopefully they stay put. I really like the look of the smoked lenses. Even though they are smoked, they are much brighter than the stock tail lights and I have had no issues with the computer sensing low voltage or giving a fast blink. Well packaged. Based on old reviews, I tried to open it up and seal the headlights but couldn't figure out how. I must have been missing something. They install very easily and look great. They are snug all the way around on my 2017 JKU. Tip #1: install the resistor high up on the recommended lip on the left side. Tip #2: you can actually install the resistor so it sits between the recommended lip and the oustide body panel--there is enough room. ... show more
