This grass carpet works great on our patio for our newly adopted dog. It doesn't have a weird odor like some do. He loves laying on it in the sun. It has a low pile texture and there is no shedding on the edges. Mine is 3'x10' so it's perfect for a walkway or along a fence like we have used it for a pet. We've been using it for 3 months, and it's proven to be very durable. It's extremely easy to use, pull it out of the box and roll it out. It's easily trimmed if you need it to fit a smaller area. If you'd like a little green on your patio, I highly recommend this grass carpet. I've paid my dog tax in my picture. :) The listing now says this carpet is 4'x10', but I still find the price a little steep, even for that size.

This is thinner than I expected, however it does look good. The color on it is vivid and brings life to dead looking areas. The backing seems to be sturdy however and should hold up very well. The texture is ok. This is not a great piece of artificial grass but makes a good looking green outdoor rug.

This artificial grass runner rug has been a great addition to my daughter’s play area in the backyard, with a nice size that fits perfectly and gives her a soft place to play. The color looks natural and vibrant, and the overall appearance blends in well with the yard without looking fake or cheap. The quality feels really good, and it has held up well to regular use, running around, and being outside in different weather. It feels durable and stays in place without wearing down quickly. First off I have several different artificial grass mats in different sizes and different thicknesses and quality levels. When I review one I base my review on the pricing of the piece and the size and the quality. In my pictures you can see a variety of different heights thicknesses and sizes of artificial grass and this one given that it's a 3 ft x 10 ft size which means 30 ft for $40 at the current price point, it's not a great value because it's not real artificial grass first of all. It's a green plastic mat with a textured surface made to emulate extremely low artificial grass, more like a putting green on a golf course where the grass is super super short. So it won't provide any type of loft or even look or feel like artificial grass but if you want a green plastic match to cover either a patio or a deck or dirt on the ground, and you're not too particular about it looking or feeling like grass, then this might be a good option for you but at the $40 price point for the small surface area, there are a lot better options with thicker Loft that look more like real grass at a similar price point. My thickest artificial grass mat which is extremely dense and heavy and 6 ft by 8 ft, I paid $80 for and then even larger mats that aren't quite as thick, we're a similar price point. So you basically have to evaluate the price of artificial grass mats based on the thickness, weight, fiber density and surface area. So that's why I'm giving this one three stars because it's basically a very flat green plastic mat that on its own is not particularly attractive or usable for anything other than just very thin surface covering. That said, I added it to my current hodgepodge of green artificial grass and outdoor mats that I used to cover the ground where the grass doesn't grow because in the summer months that entire area is covered in dark shade by the huge tree overhead. So with my dogs running in and out constantly, it prevents them from tracking in pounds of dirt on their paws so it gives them several feet that they have to run over prior to coming on to the back deck and then into the back door so I reduce a lot of the dirt that would otherwise be coming in on their paws by covering the dirt areas immediately adjacent to the back porch and back entry. It's definitely become more necessity driven functional than aesthetic unless you like the eclectic look of various ground coverings. LOL My dogs still prefer to lay on Natural Earth or if they do lay on any of the grass they will only lay on the thickest ones. They avoid the thin mats like this one because they don't provide any softness or comfort and if they're going to lay directly on the ground they'd rather be really on the natural ground whether it's dirt or grassy areas because they get the natural earthing benefits. Plastic blocks those earthing benefits so a flat plastic mat with no thickness whatsoever like this one is not at all appealing to them. Also these very thin plastic mats get very hot under the sunlight which doesn't happen with the thicker ones because of all the air space between the thick grass fibers. Anyway, those are just some tips of what to look for if you are shopping for artificial grass mats.

Product arrived promptly and free of damage or defect. As a full time RVer for the past 13 years, I have learned that artificial turf carpets in front of your RV are A MUST so you don't tread mud, dirt, fox tails into your "home". You can imagine I have bought and owned MANY of these, from the heavy $$$$ 20 year high traffic ones to the cheap local store chain ones, including the super cheap looking famous "astroturf" they used to sell everywhere, years ago. So I decided to give this product a try (I can always use more artificial turf runners). Overall, NOT impressed, and this is why: PROS: + Has the ability to keep some dirt out of your RV or keep mud off your dog's paws. CONS: - Does not look like artificial turf, looks cheap - Does not compare to even the cheapest real artificial turf available locally (is less thick and too visually aggressive, green color wise and has a shine to it - (most reputable brands are a "matt" finish, to look less synthetic) - Extremely thin! (see photo) - Look almost identical to the cheap looking astroturf sold locally (astroturf is not the same as artificial turf/grass) - Looks like astroturf but is considerably stiffer, as it has a stiff rubbery backing that makes it harder to fold, pack and store. - Looks like cheap astroturf but costs MORE than same or slightly larger (8X10) size artificial grass sold locally (??? why???) - Is sold folded, not rolled, so expect lots of folds for a while (they eventually will go away). So the question is, why would someone pick this product? VERDICT: Like I just said, why would anyone select this product? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This review is an accurate assessment of this product at the time review was written.
