We used this as ground covering for a jungle scene we were doing. The grass was tall and thick, which we liked a lot.

Perfect base for a statue. Certainly a five star rating except first shipment arrived and package was empty. Another shipment came quickly after a call to customer service.

This item has been with me for a very short time. I ordered the XLX TURF artificial grass mat squares in the size of 12x12 because I wanted to create a small, low-maintenance backyard oasis where my family and I could relax and enjoy some leisure time together. Living in an urban area without much outdoor space, I needed something practical that would not only enhance the aesthetics of my yard but also provide a safe and comfortable surface for activities. With its high-quality materials, realistic appearance, and easy installation process, the XLX TURF artificial grass seemed like the perfect solution. Moreover, its durability and resistance to wear and tear made it an ideal choice considering my two kids who love hanging outdoors. By opting for this product, I can now transform my dull patch of concrete into a vibrant green space that brings joy to our daily lives while requiring minimal upkeep. I hope you find this review helpful.

This is not exactly what I was hoping for. I was hoping for maybe a better product (higher quality/ standard). The product sheds from day 1. It wreaked of petroleum the second it was unbagged and still today has a chemical smell. Because of these two traits, I was unable to use these for the purpose I had intended. This is very similar to the artificial grass you might find on rolls at retail hardware store and that people use over hard surfaces for outdoor spaces as opposed to actually using in place of sod. The only key difference is these 12"x12" squares have a bit of backing, which I thought would reduce shedding. This might work for other craft projects, but was not a good fit for mine.

I ordered these to use for an outside area that I made a checkerboard pattern with 12x12 cement squares. We had put sod in the inbetween places which later turned to weeds. These are perfect for placing between the blocks and will not need to be watered. They don't smell the best straight out of the package but since I'm using mine outside it doesn't bother me. Looks natural for what I needed it for and so far seems pretty durable. I plan on ordering more to complete my project.
