The base frame is made of metal, it’s very easy to put together and as others have stated the real wheels could be sturdier. Mine came without any flaws and she will get good use out of it before I imagine the wheels will collapse, but they are made of inexpensive plastic and the locking mechanism is plastic as well, so after some abuse they are bound to fail, eventually…but for the price it is a good little bike!! I love how easy it is to just throw in the car and take off or how you can change the purpose of it as they grow. The pedals are made well too.

Great Bike. I bought used and it was brand new. It’s a great product to push around your child or short trips for a toddler to push themselves around using their feet. My only big complaint are the tires are plastic and not very durable.
