This anchor, which I am using on a kayak, came with the line tied to the BOTTOM of the anchor. Some users may not understand why: Tie a loop in the line, a foot or so above where it is tied to the anchor, and then use a plastic zip to to attach the loop to the TOP eyelet of the anchor. That way, if the anchor flanges become stuck on the bottom, you can give a hard pull and break the zip tie. The anchor will turn upside down and be freed from whatever it was stuck on! They also include a buoy and a pelican hook, so that if you need to detach the anchor quickly from the boat in an emergency, you can go back and find your anchor. Clever, but maybe not intuitive to newbies! BTW, I have an attachment track built in to my kayak, and I bought a cleat for it, to secure the anchor line. Kayaks get blown around a lot in windy conditions, so if you want to fish in a specific area, an anchor can come in very handy. This one folds up small for storage in a kayak. ... show more
