So these bags are pretty decent considering they are about a grand less than the dealer charges, so that in itself is a positive. Mounting them is okay. They are a tight fit but not to where you have to drill any of the holes wider to get them to fit easier. It's a nice tight fit. The line up well with a 4.5 inch extended fender and cover the exhaust very well. The paint on them is good. No bubbling or what I call honeycomb type markings from a poor paint job. The lids are a little flimsy and the locking mechanisms are a pain. It's almost as if they have a double locking mechanism. You'll push the lever down and it'll feel latched but it isn't. You need to press a bit harder and it latches. Once it's latched though its a good solid feel. They wont open or pop when riding so don't worry about that. Now the bad stuff. I think when they made these lids to fit 5x7 they converted their metric to imperial wrong. 5x7's won't fit properly without modifying the mounting area. I had to (like others) cut the basket completely out. The speakers I installed had the connections on the side (see the pic) so I had to take a chunk out of the speaker housing in order for it to fit flush on top. In doing this the speaker screw holes were no where near the pre-drilled holes and therefore, I had to make my own screw holes. This really wasn't too much of an issue however, it would have been nice to just drop them in and move on. I feel overall these are decent bags for the money. i would recommend them to a buddy and purchase them again if needed. I'm rating 4 star simply because their measurements for the speaker housings are really off. ... show more

Very impressed. While not Harley, these look extremely good and are very sturdy. Better quality than a set of Hog Werks that I have on a different bike. Would buy again.

Product(4” CVO style) came neatly and safely packaged. Saddle bags were in separate soft bags and each wrapped separately in foam as well. The paint looks flawless, the hinges and latch all work like factory. Three keys and even skid plates came with the bags. If you see a bad review, it’s either a one time thing or people are hard to please because these are literally immaculate! I lost a saddle bag on the highway because of a recall I was unaware of. I ordered these as a quick replacement and didn't expect much. They've been on my bike for a week, several miles later I have no complaints. The paint has orange peel, but for the price it could be alot worse. The lids are solid when they lock and the hinges have no play. They mounted up snugly with no issues, they may be thinner than stock and possibly less durable but I don't plan on doing any drop testing if I can help it. ... show more
