I took and put loctite on all the fasteners once I received it. Just did a 1500 mile road trip and it had no issues. The only problem I’ve had is that the chrome rack for the lid was no where close to fitting properly. The lids have premarked spots on the inside and so I center punched them and drilled them. Each leg of the rack was approx 1/8”-3/8” away from the holes. Yes I should have measured first but they were premarked. I went to mount it the night before the trip (another mistake of my own) and ran into this issue. Fortunately I had some silicone and was able to plug the holes for now until I can find another rack to try. That’s my only complaint with this setup. I didn't like the short backrest and asked several Harley dealers on options but no one was much help. My husband ordered this one & although it's scary to cut holes in the tour pack it turned out perfect. I feel so much more comfortable now & much more stable.

Bought this tour pack as it had great reviews. Couple reasons why I have such a low ratting. First there are no pre drilled holes for the backrest that is included with this. However there are pre drilled holes for a brake light to go on the back which is not included. So basically I have to buy an additional item that I did not want to cover all of these useless holes. ... show more
