I purchased this to put on my 2014 FLD Switchback for a trip I had planned. We did a little over 3200 miles in a week. No issues from the tour pack. We kept our rain gear, heated gear, and other odds and ends in the tour pack. We bungeed our waterproof duffel bag to the rack on the tour pack. I'm sure weight wise the tour pack was overloaded, but it survived. We went through lots of rain on the trip and everything stayed dry inside. We did purchase one of the mounting base plates for the inside and I believe that helped a lot. With the weight of the luggage on the lid you could feel some flex in the hinges and lid when you opened it up. I just had my wive hold the lid to keep stress off the hinges and limiting strap. I wish mounting templates were included for the back rest and luggage rack. I didn't have issues mounting them. It just would have been easier. I used toothpaste on the end of the mounting studs to transfer the bolt pattern onto the tour pack.

The product came very well packaged. Every corner and key area was maliciously protected. The color is consistent and i have found no flaws. Test fitting upon receipt was perfect. I would be dealing with this vendor again.

The pack is beautiful! Same quality as my SGS OEM saddle bags. Mine had the holes marked for drilling so no problem there. I also ordered the mount and it fits like a glove. Ordered mounting plate elsewhere. Total bill just over $300. Very happy.

After 5 emails and waiting 3 weeks the King Tour Pack Trunk finally came in. XFMT assured me there wouldn't be any holes in the trunk. It has 12 predrilled holes, 4 for where it attaches to the rack, I could live with those. The other 8 are on the side where the light bar would attach, I'm not using a light. There customer support is slow at returning emails. It's a pretty good looking trunk, This one is going back. I'll order another one in 2 to 4 business days after customer support reply's and assures me i can order a trunk WITHOUT ANY HOLES. Also base plate ASIN B01BUP7K56 does not fit this trunk, it's way to wide. You would have to either 1, cut a good bit off, 2, do some pretty good bending or 3. put spacers between the base plate and the trunk to fill the gap. Go to Lowes and get a 3/16" 11"X12" aluminum plate, it will fit right in there.

I was skeptical to purchase this because of other after market reviews. Yes you have to drill some holes. They are pre-marked. Drilling was simple and easy. The seat lined up perfect. The only modification I made was purchased a 1 sqft piece of 16 gauge steel for $9 at the Hdepot. This I used to reinforce the inside base. I saw suggestions to buy the $50 pre drilled piece of metal but momma ain't raise a dummy. So far I'm thrilled with it. All in $303. It's not a Harley product also not the $1k price tag. It's built sturdy in my opinion. I'll check back in a few months with an update. Additionally, to cover my rear I purchased the allstate insurance for $34. Cheers and keep the dirty side down.

For the price, not bad. I put mine on a 21 Road Glide. It’s a little loose on the front bracket. Needs a slightly bigger rubber gasket but WAY cheaper than what Harley wanted.
