I didn't know quite how Great this tape was until I had to run to the store and buy more painter's tape of a different brand at the last minute. Who knew how different the different brands are??!. This second brand had a horrifically Toxic smell --- like a very high VOC paint! I will be taking it back -- without asking for a refund --- just with "Very Toxic Smell" written on it! I will stick a strip of this "Fasten" brand on it -- to highlight the difference and let the store know just how toxic the other stuff is!!! Good to know that I will look for "Fasten" whenever I have to buy more painter's tape. And you can be sure that I have No ties to this company - as I suspect even they are Not aware of all that I have written here!!!!!! ... show more

If you use tape as much as I do, it's a good idea to get some cheaper masking tape for jobs that don't require the superior performance of 3M tape. This brand of blue tape doesn't stick as well and isn't cut as straight as 3M, but I've found that I use this brand more often. For actual paint masking, I will continue to use 3M. ... show more

I can use a 4” roller rite up this tape edge and not get paint over to the other edge thus avoiding having to cut in with a brush. And the price is the same as other tapes that are not as wide. I recommend that when you paint up to the edge of the tape that you paint the edge of the tape with the same color on there now. I had to do this because my walls are textured. That way you will get a nice sharp edge. ... show more

First: Three rolls of 2" tape were packaged together. The three were so welded together that it took a Herculean effort to separate them. There was no clear perforation between rolls. Second: There was no cut on a roll for a starting point. Then when I finally had to cut my own starting point multiple layers would stick together. I wasted 1/4 of a roll just to get down to a usable portion of the tape. If my experience is the rule and the quality control is so bad I would not recommend buying this product. ... show more
