Description

Comparing the photos above quickly reveals the difference between Xenvo premium quality lenses and cheap, low-quality alternatives. Problems with cheap wide-angle lenses: 1. Barrel Distortion - Cheap wide-angle lenses will distort your photos, giving a warped, fisheye appearance; straight lines appear curved. 2. Vignetting - Poor quality construction and design of cheap wide-angle lenses results in unwanted darkening of corners in photos. Benefits of Xenvo TruView wide-angle lens: 1. Rectilinear Correction - Xenvo wide-angle lenses feature additional glass elements that correct unwanted lens distortion so straight lines appear straight. 2. No Vignetting - High-quality, German optical-grade glass provides crystal clear images from edge to edge with no dark corners.

  • Read my review before you buy it!
The photos show macro before using this lens and after and same with the wide lens. Please don’t judge my nails lol 1. For the people that has the latest iPhone 16 pro (I have the latest iPhone) it does work for this type of phone it takes patience and playing around with it to work but it works on the bottom lens! I had to put it halfway on the bottom lens and it somehow worked for macro lens and the wide lens works easier! The autofocus on the new iPhones is what causes the blurry images but it goes away after a while so be aware. 2. The quality is worth the money! The light is super bright on the 3rd setting! And the focus on these lens are very accurate scary accurate lol I looked under my nails and was grossed out. It’s so detailed that I can see my finger prints in such detail that I never seen before, the color accuracy is on point! 3. Easy to use and I love the case! Very versatile! 10/10 I would highly recommend if you’re getting this for your phone. For all the skeptics it does work it takes some time to figure it out tho! If I could give this more stars I would, definitely a happy customer!!!!!!! 4. Buy it now, like right now you won’t regret it! P.s I did go wash my hands thoroughly after this lol and this was an old set of nails. Please don’t judge me! ... show more

  • Photographer approved- Top notch quality build!
I am used to using good glass on a DSLR so my expectations are higher when it comes to images. I find myself utilizing my camera more than I ever thought I would to capture pictures and video on the every day. Ive been contemplating on investing in gear for my phone camera for over the last several years and just recently decided to take the plunge. I’ve been pleased thus far. I have looked at various manufacturers on lenses. Came across this and thought I’d give it a go before throwing a little heartier investment to possibly find disappointment. I am so glad I went this route. The glass is so nice and clear. It’s quality made as my pro grade lenses. The light is a bonus. I haven’t had time to really see what they can do but a few minutes of exploration, I’m impressed. My subject volunteer also did a great job of not minding so much. Thanks Noodle! I have a iPhone 15pro. 3 lenses versus the two in the videos. I found that the bottom main lens provides the framing and focus you need. Best of luck with yours. I will be looking at other lenses from this manufacturer for sure. I’m not shy about investing in gear when it comes to cost but it has to be worth the investment. You’ll get that with these lenses. Only thing I would suggest, lens caps for the macro. I see the efficiency of keeping the two stacked for a multitude of reasons but it’s nice to have the option to keep dust free when not in use. I will say, for the price point, it’s great and I realize that would have to accompany a price increase. Maybe an optional purchase? I’m interested in seeing if I can get the entire frame in sharp focus. With such quality, I hope it can pair well with the iPhones capabilities to do that.. I will update my review if something changes and add more versatility of images. For now! Go for it! ... show more

  • WideLens great for Selfies, MacroLens great for zero personal space
Pretty neat little gadget that comes with a lanyard and mini ring light. Background: I have an Android [Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra] and I pride my phone on it's camera quality above all other mobile cameras. I love taking photos; and trying to get the slightest details on up close flora often eludes my cameras capabilities. We have an amazing zoom feature, but it doesn't quite capture the full depth sometimes. With that said, with the MacroLens, you have to hold your phone incredibly close to the object you are trying to photograph, which can be a bit tedious if its a moving object (like a bee, bug, etc). But the details are incredible when done patiently. Unfortunately it IS super sensitive, so if you have a thick phone case (like i do) you have to remove the phone case each time to get real precision details. Otherwise it'll just be a blurred screen that can't find it's focus. With the WideLens, I recommend it's best used for Selfie mode. When used in regular picture mode, it does have a little vignette to it where the corners are slightly darkened. But it does make a huge difference in selfie mode, where you usually can't zoom out. I do not have long arms, so I often struggle getting everyone in a photo while trying to get good angles of everyone. The WideLens definitely makes a difference with that. There is no vignette or distortion when used in Selfie Mode which is great. The clips: They are sturdy. They aren't loose, they don't wobble, and the lanyard it attaches to makes the lenses easy to put on/off your phone, and just hang around you until needed. Photos attached: MacroLens of my cat's eye (with [detailed] and without [blurry] the MacroLens). WideLens of my cat's tree (in regular picture mode, with [normal] and without [vignette distortion] the WideLens) ... show more

  • This is a bad lens and definitely not worth buying at this time until something is fixed.
I bought this lens and was really impressed with their packaging, their thought behind marketing, the packaging, and the usb video they sent with their product .I was really very positive at what they had done, and their customer service, which is one of the developers, who was very kind on the phone and tried to be very helpful so I am very sad in writing this review, but hopefully, it will save customers grief until the problem is solved and inspire the company to improve their product or figure out what is going wrong. The company definitely gets an A for effort, and I feel bad writing this review, but their product deserves failing marks with me without question. When I got my first lens from Amazon, I was very excited about the potential of it taking great photos from what I had read, and the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately, I put the lens on my iPhone 8, followed all the directions and coaching on their video and everything seemed great until I looked at the pictures the lens took. To be honest, the pictures were horrible. I got better pictures with a fisheye lens. The wide angle photos had massive blurriness and distortion except for the middle 1/3 of the picture. I was so disappointed.I took the time and called up their company, spoke to them, and sent them my photos taken with their lens. They were very nice, sincerely apologized, and sent me out a new lens right away saying my lens had to be defective. The new lens arrived quickly which was great customer service, but the new lens took horrible wide angle photos just like the first. After talking with the company again and them talking about that the newer cameras like the iphone 8 and above had dual lenses which possibly didn't create a good seal with their lens,, this could be the cause of the distortions on the photos. On an iPhone 8, the camera(s) are oval shaped while on the iPhone 6 and before, it is circular. Unfortunately, their claim of this causing the distortion was not substantiated to me because I grabbed an old phone 6 that I had that only has a single round lens hoping their lens would take great photos with this older camera but again even with the single lens, their wide angle lens still took the same horrible photos. Although I would really like the company to succeed, there is something drastically wrong with the lens's I received.I spent a lot of time trying to get their lens to work on these 2 different iPhones and although I would have much rather written a warm glowing review for them and the camera, I wanted to warn people my very bad experience with their lens. Maybe they are having a production issue or maybe somehow the reviews aren't accurate with the quality of the photos that their lens takes, but I had an awful experience unfortunately. ... show more

  • Nice kit, but...
Nice kit, arrived quickly, and is nicely packaged. It looks well made, seems to have real metal body, and glass lenses. But, with iphone 17 pro, it offers no advantage for macro work. I need to get clear image sof printed patterns as amall as 14". Two of the photos show the results of using the magnifier, and not using the magnifier. The extra lens causes some curve distortion and color fringing. It also has more focus and fringe problems the farther away from center the image is. There is a mm scale cloth tape measure in the pic to show scale. The printed image shows some lines withing a 1/4 portion of a 1/2" square. without the xtra lens being used, the phone camera is about 1/5 to 3/4" from paper. With the lens, the lens front is also about the same distance, so in both cases, control of light is challenging. Looking at the images, the unaided iphone pic is clearer, less distorted, and has better contrast. This Xenvo lens may be wonderful on older cell phone cameras, but in my case does not help. I'm returning it. I did grab a few pics with wide angle in place and it can create some interesting effects but I'm. not into that. ... show more

  • People are ignoring the EXCELLENT tutorials!
I've gotta say...I'm impressed. I was truly hesitant to spent forty bucks on a lens because I've had these things before and they don't work well. I always get the "halo" or "vignette" effect that totally ruins the picture. And I have a Pixel 3 with a standard single lens...not one of those fancy 2- or 3-lens setups. Some say it's because of the cell phone case...well, I'm not going to take off my protective case every time I want to use a clip on lens. So after sending a couple of those "other" lenses back in the past, I had given up. But now I have a really serious need for a wide-angle lens, and this one came up as having pretty good reviews. But only 4 stars...not 5. So I was a little worried. I browsed around and discovered that some of the 5-star lenses actually had warnings that they were "frequently returned". And after reading the complaints, I was concerned that these were jacked up reviews, not real ones. So, I came back to the Xenovo and decided to give it a try. I am VERY glad I did! I am getting absolutely NO halo or vignette effect on my Pixel 3 with a thick case on it. The view is clear and unobstructed. Photos and videos look great. It comes with a light, and a neat quick-release lanyard for carrying the lens around your neck. There's even a sweet little case to store everything in! It is a little hard to figure out the right arrangement so the zipper will close, but it worked out eventually. The one thing that the negative reviews are missing is that they didn't watch the tutorial videos at the Xenvo Pro website. They are professional and informative. They thoroughly explain how to solve the problem of a phone with multiple cameras, and they even demonstrate how to use the front camera with the lens. I think this one can be a little tricky due to the brightness of the screen itself, but I was able to adjust the lens to a "sweet spot" that seems to work well. Also at the website, there's an option to register your lens for a lifetime warranty. Can't go wrong with that. Especially helpful are the video demonstrations and commentary on situations when a wide angle lens won't do what you want it to do. Instead of blaming the lens, you learn to set your expectations appropriately. And as an old-fashioned photographer (long before cell phones) I can vouch that they are not just yanking your chain to explain away a bad product. So far, I'm super impressed and looking forward to getting some really good use out of this! ... show more
