These worked great at first! After about a week or 2. The passenger side wouldn’t kick on right away. So I’d have to cycle the key 20 times for it to kick on the bulb. Well one day it just wouldn’t turn on anymore. They sent out a new bulb pretty quick. That bulb lasted about another week till the same thing would happen. Then drivers side went out. They sent 2 new bulbs. Well new bulbs don’t work either so now they want me to send them the old ballasts so they can send me new ballasts. For a $30 hid kit. You get what you pay for. Honestly it’s too much of a hassle to send them the ballast to wait for the new ones, just for it to fail again. I even had installed a relay harness to supply power to them easier. These are amazing when they work. A nightmare when they don’t. ... show more

The ballast either don't work or they stop working. I've been buying a new ballast set every 6 months to a year and I have two trucks so I buy 8 ballast, 4 sets and they are all blown. You think they would last longer.

Kit came with one bulb that was inop, which now makes it difficult to use the entire kit. Do you drive with one light out ? or one hid light and use the old halogen one for the other side ? or just remove the kit and waste 1.5 hrs of your day to be back where you started from with the original halogen bulbs back in the vehicle. No way to contact the seller to see if they would overnight a new replacement bulb. Will try contacting the manufacture/customer service to see if they will send a new replacement bulb. ... show more

I bought these 12000k HID kit for my 00' Civic EX bc the factory lights were dull, I could barely see 20 ft in front of me. First off, I got my order 3 days faster than it was supposed to be here. However, I just installed them and the only problem I had was, after watching some install vids on YouTube, One guy found his harness was wired backwards. So I looked at mine before install and sure enough mine were not the way he had his wired. I then re-wired it the way he said it was supposed to be. After installing the kit, made a HUGE difference, I can now see almost a football field away with just the low beams! I would buy this kit again for sure and they would had gotten 5 stars if it hadn't been for backwards wiring. Also I have only had them installed a few hours so I may update if anything happens, which in manufacturing your going to have ones that get through that will fail, nothing is perfect but I do hope I got a good set that will last a long time because they are awesome and worth it to be able to see at night next time I have to travel for school. ... show more

    • Bright, Easy to Install, Worked at First
Bought these on the 26th of October, installed the 27th, Nov 3rd, Started up the car, turned the HIDs on, and not a few miles out, one stopped working. unsure why, checked the HID bulb, has a white mark like it burned up/went out. Swapped the Bulbs (driver side worked) put the good one on to the ballast, and doesnt light up. Ballast seems to be bad, including the Bulb, since Bulb wont work on the good Ballast. Put everything back where it was, and Driver side still works, Passenger side doesnt. Called Xentec, left msg, they text me back few hours later, and asked me a few questions. they seemed to be good about replacement. they are sending me a new ballast and bulb. gave it a 3 star because it shouldnt go bad so quickly. it was strange, but their assistance to replce it was nice. I will give it a 4 star once i get the new ballast and bulb and make sure it works fine. ... show more

By mistake I ordered HB2 9003 But the part I was looking for it was HB4 9006 Support right away told me to keep everything and send it bulbs back And keep the rest but by mistake I really resent everything back and they did send me a new bulbs but I didn’t have the Balis so I had to re-order the new stuff I just want to say the customer service it was awesome I’m using the product for a couple of days it works fine and I’m super happy so if you are really interested to order any H ID kit from this company trust me order it if you have any problems let them know what’s going on and I’m sure they’ll help you out I like the product and thank you have a great version 55w hid kit ... show more

Bought 2 sets. First set. One of the bulbs blew within 1 month. I contacted the seller and they tried to tell me to take the ballast apart and clean the connections. That was a joke. So I figured it was just a bad bulb so I ordered another set thinking I could just use the bulb. Well both of those bulbs blew as well. They flickered when the voltage went up over 12 volts then shut off. I got pulled over because of it and got a ticket because the cop thought I was flashing him. Very very disappointed. Worst part is I paid almost $100 bucks and neither set work. So I suggest finding another set. ... show more
