This is an unbelievably incredible jacket for such a low low price. When I purchased it I was expecting a thin and cheaply made jacket for the price, but what I received was a beautiful jacket made of thick leather that is wonderfully styled. It has nice protection with the plates if you happen to take a spill and is very warm with the removable liner. I review many items and do not give out 5 Stars easily, but with this jacket I would give even more stars if I could. Please read and take care to order at least one size larger than you normally wear. The size does run small. I am 6’ 3” tall and weigh 230 lbs and normally wear a 3 XL but I bought a 4 XL and it fits perfectly. I absolutely love it and will recommend it to everyone I know. Wow. Just wow. When this jacket arrived I opened it up quick to try it on. With all the sizing variations depending on brands these days, I took a chance on the 4xl. I’m between a 2xl and 3xl depending again on what it is and who makes it. Purchased this is a 4xl and besides me having short arms, it fits absolutely perfectly. The armor is in the right places, the leather feels incredible, the liner makes is almost too warm, but who cares! Hoodies work just as well. Using it currently while riding this late fall season without the liner and its been great. I’m so happy with this jacket, I’m considering getting another style for just daily wear! I’m 5’7” and about 265. I have a gut, but insulated muscles. I’m also big boned and have a large if short stocky frame. Sizing tip - if you’re between sizes like me order one size larger than your bigger size Unless you plan on never using the liner, in which case your big size should fit. First off I do not review many items I've purchased and I am picky. Here are my opinions.... I paid attention to the reviews and ordered one size up. I am 6'4"/290# with a gut and the jacket fits beautifully in the shoulders and very good around my middle with the side laces adjusted all the way out. The sleeve lengths are perfect if you are on a sport bike with clip ons but hang down on my long arms to mid-hand at attention. Purchase to delivery time was very good. Item description vs. reality is off; this jacket is much better than described. The leather used is heavy in the right places and thinner and supple where it needs to be like the neck lining. It will take a while to break this jacket in which, to me, is a good thing.The stitching is tight, close and even. I removed the thin, zip out liner. It is too light to do much good and just makes the jacket bulkier. A T shirt does as much good and is more comfortable Under the liner I found a good quality, nylon mesh permanent liner which should work great with the large zippered vents when it gets warm. One great thing is that all the zippers are high quality YKK brass items. People can rag on "Made In Pakistan " all they want but this is a steal at <$140 delivered. Thanks Leatherup. ... show more

First of all this is a great jacket . I followed the manufacturer's sizing guide and the fit was perfect . This is a fitted jacket it is not supposed to be baggy , the sleeves are longer for extended reach which are the proper length . I am 5 ft 10 weight 185 lbs 46 inch chest , I ordered an XL , and the fit was excellent , by the way my normal size coat is XL . This jacket has a good weight to it , the zippers are high quality , the snaps are high quality , the vented zippered front and back openings allow air movement so the jacket don't blow up like a balloon while riding . The price point is fantastic for a jacket of this quality , I was a little skeptical on sizing when ordering but I followed the measuring chart like I said and fitment was perfect , I don't know how other people's measured themselves but I am glad I made this purchase because here in the Northeast It's time to ride ! Add on 04/11/2018 : my waist is 38 inches forgot to add that. And also forgot to mention that the leather is also very soft and will only get better with age . ... show more

The quality of this jacket is much higher than I would have expected in its price range. You can tell that its real leather. I've bought products that were supposed to be leather previously and weren't but this jacket is the real deal. The jacket is thick and heavy as it should be. Sizing was on the money. I'm 5'6, 145 lbs. and the medium fit perfectly. There is a slight amount of foam padding in the elbow and lower back but no real armor in this jacket to speak of. There are two front and two rear zipper vents. There are two outside zipper pockets and two button close inner pockets. There is also a removable vest liner. I do wish that the inner pockets had zippers as well if there were anything to complain about. There are side tassel type adjustments on both sides. Even with the vents open and liner removed this jacket would be very hot in the summer time. For fall/winter riding the jacket is plenty warm. There is enough room for me to wear a back protector under the jacket as well as slim elbow pads. My reflective vest goes on over the jacket with no problems. The sleeves are just the right length for me to tuck my gloves into with no exposed wrists. I have no doubt that this jacket would provide a lot of protection from sliding if I were to go down but I would recommend wearing armor underneath as additional protection from an impact with the ground. I've seen mesh and textile armored jackets that ripped apart from sliding on the asphalt. Real leather is the best protection against road rash. You would be hard pressed to find a better quality jacket at this price range. ... show more
