  • Well made quality materials nice fit durable value
Size: XX-Large Color: Grey
I rarely write reviews, but this jacket is so impressive, i thought i'd share my thoughts. Extremely good value- impressive features and quality for such a low price. I didn't expect this to be anywhere this nice and well made for the price. All of the hook and loop closures are nice and the zipper is smooth and feels heavy duty. The padding is comfortable and well-shaped for a comfortable fit. It breathes extremely well for a full jacket. I couldn't find any significant or even minor faults in any areas of the quality and construction of this jacket. The only surprise is that the color is slightly different than pictured. It is described as grey but looks white in the pictures. I really wanted the white for maximum heat reflectivity, but the jacket is a medium gray- it looks just like the jacket they describe as military green.... go figure. Sizing seems accurate. I'm 6'5" and 250lbs and the xxl fits me well. I expect this jacket to last multiple seasons based on the initial build quality and materials, but time will tell. ... show more

  • Excellent Economic Summer Jacket
Size: Medium Color: Fluorescent Green
I normally wear size L jackets since I normally prefer looser fit clothes and the ability to add layers underneath. However, I purchased this jacket exclusively for summer use, so I took a risk and ordered the recommended size M. The jacket fits me absolutely perfectly. The CE armor is in the correct place without causing any discomfort. The jacket is fully adjustable at the waste, arms and neck, which let me get a perfect fit, and it is very light and decently ventilated. I opted for the Hi-Viz color and let me say, it is definitely eye catching, especially with the reflective logo, which it is worth mentioning that the branding on this jacket does not seem tacky to me, unlike some of the other budget brands. Now let's talk about storage. In terms of it, this jacket has fewer pockets than my old jacket (Castle X). However, the number of pockets it has is more than enough for me. It comes equipped with two external zipper pockets, an internal phone pocket, and an internal generic pocket. I do not know if I will ever use the internal pockets, but the zipper pockets seem nice. Speaking of zippers, on the rear of the jacket is a zipper that can be zippered to the corresponding BYKR pants (I did indeed buy them) to prevent your jacket from riding up! In summary, this is an excellent economic option for anyone looking for a nice summer jacket with adequate protection for cruising around. ... show more

  • If I could give them a 10 I would
Size: X-Large Color: Black
I’ve reached that age where my "safety hoodie" just doesn't feel like enough anymore. I still want to stay cool while riding, but I finally admitted I needed some actual armor between me and the pavement. I decided to pull the trigger on this BYKR mesh jacket because the price was right and the reviews looked solid. Right out of the box, the quality actually surprised me. It feels sturdy without being heavy, and the airflow is incredible. It really does breathe like a dream, which is a lifesaver when the sun is beating down on the asphalt. The only real hurdle was the sizing. I made the mistake of ordering it the same way I buy my hoodies, and let me tell you, it was a total "fat guy in a little coat" situation. It ran way smaller than I expected. I figured I just botched the math, so I ordered one size up, but honestly, it felt almost exactly like the first one. I was starting to get a bit frustrated, so I reached out to their customer service team just to figure out what was going on with the fit. That is where this company truly shines. Their support team was absolutely A1. Instead of giving me some canned response, they actually took the time to ask for my specific chest measurements to make sure we got it right this time. On top of being super helpful, they are sending out the correct size for free. Even if the jacket itself wasn't already a great piece of gear for the money, that kind of service is rare these days. It’s a relief to buy from a brand that actually stands behind their stuff and makes sure you’re taken care of. ... show more

  • Fantastic airflow and fit—just plan on upgrading the armor
Size: X-Large Color: Grey
I've ridden a few hundred miles in this jacket now that the weather has warmed up, and overall, I am really happy with it. I purchased it in the Grey color, and I really like the look and fit. For sizing reference, I am 5'10", 210 lbs, with a 44" chest, and the XL fits me perfectly. The airflow on this jacket is absolutely great, making it an excellent choice for hot summer rides on my naked bike. One of my favorite features, especially in comparison to other budget jackets like the HWK Scorpion, is the main zipper. The BYKR features a much beefier plastic zipper that feels durable, and best of all, the zipper slider is on the correct right side (U.S. standard) instead of the left. It is much easier to align and use. If I had to change anything about the upper part of the jacket, I could definitely do without the collar velcro, but it's a minor annoyance. The jacket loses one star for a couple of small storage quirks and the included armor. First, the pockets overall could be a little bit bigger. Specifically, the inside zipper pocket on my jacket doesn't zip correctly; when I pull the zipper, the teeth immediately separate and open up behind the slider, defeating the purpose of locking it. I don't use that specific pocket at the moment, so it isn't a major concern for me right now, but it's worth noting. Second, the "armor" included with this jacket is essentially the same as what you get with other budget brands—just basic foam pads. I wouldn't trust them to do much of anything in a real crash, and I highly doubt they have any official CE certification. However, because this is a budget-friendly jacket, you get what you pay for, and the built-in armor pockets make it incredibly easy to upgrade. I spent about $90 on RevZilla to replace the factory foam with a genuine AXIAL AX1 back protector (CE Level 1) and AXIAL AX2 Air shoulder and elbow armor (both CE Level 2). Aside from the cheap foam pads and the finicky internal pocket zipper, this is an excellent mesh jacket. If you are willing to spend a little extra to put legitimate armor in it, the fit, look, and airflow make it an incredible value for summer riding. ... show more

  • This jacket is exactly quarts advertised, great jacket
Size: X-Large Color: Black
This jacket is a great! My husband is a big guy like muscle big so it’s been tough to find a jacket to fit him and one that comfortable while riding, because he’s got a street bike and has to bend forward and the shoulders of most jackets do not fit him! This one fits perfect and is true to size, he’s 44 inches across shoulder to shoulder and an XL fit perfect! The only down fall is we live in Florida and it’s hot, the jacket is thick and well padded for protection so it’s super hot but it does exactly what it was made to do!! ... show more

  • OK temp jacket
Size: X-Large Color: Blue
Lasted about a year before the waist straps broke. If you are looking for something to get you by until you can afford a better option, this works. Also, it does have a back/spine insert. The jacket is upgraded to did not have the back insert and I was able to use the one from this jacket. So, all in all, I think it was an OK value for the use. ... show more

  • Breathable, light, fits good
Size: Large Color: Black
To start, I’m 5’ 7”, 225 lbs. I did bodybuilding so you can call me “stocky”. I can fit a regular tshirt XL if I want a tight fit. Or a 2xl/3xl for a regular/baggie fit. The problem with motorcycle jackets, as I’ve found, is that they are either too tight around the chest and arms, and I can’t move. or if I size up, start to become too BIG in the sleeves, chest, or stomach area that it starts bunching up to the point the jacket will start hitting the chin of my helmet. With this jacket, I wanted something tight - closer to a tracksuit fit. I bought a size LARGE and I would say out of all the jackets, this one fit the best in terms of function and looks. The arms had ample room to move. The chest was tight, but not restrictive. And the length was enough to not ride up my back, but not so baggy that it looks like my stomach is overhanging on the gas tank. The material is very very breathable. It’s basically one giant, “thicker”, mesh piece. But, no means does it feel “thin”. In other words, I’d feel confident enough to take a short slide on asphalt should my riding angel be taking a break. No, it is not Waterproof you either live in Hawaii (like I do) or California, or wear a poncho over it. Durability continued, the CE armor is typical foam CE armor that you find in most budget friendly jackets. But, they sit right, despite my bodybuilder proportions. And they are replaceable, so if you want to upgrade or remove the padding for better fitment, you have that option. The design is minimal as with branding. Overall, a tasteful and stylish jacket with great comfortability and durability, relative to the price. ... show more
