I needed an airbrush for fine detail motorcycle painting. I ordered this one and then I read the reviews, I know I should have read it first, I'm glad I didn't, Because I wouldn't have ordered it. After reading the reviews I tried to cancel it, But it was too late. No one said anything about it being used for auto paint or anything else except water based paint. Or to paint Cake's, I thought, oh hell no, I'm 65 years old and never heard of anyone painting a cake, I received it in like 3 days. I sprayed water through it as it says to see if it works properly, And it did, Then I tried it with water based paint and it worked great, I adjusted it for different patterns, And did everything I used to do when I was painting motorcycles like 20 years ago, I took it apart to clean it, And to see what was inside, To My surprise It is metal, Not plastic like I thought it would be, When I first held it, I already knew it had to be well built. It has some weight to it Then after I took it apart, I knew I had a good airbrush, So if you're looking for a good airbrush, This is one of the best you can get for the price, Actually I would say, for the price it's great, I've painted car's, Trucks, motorcycles and just about anything else you can think of, for over 30 years, I would have loved to have had one like this back in the day. After I use it with real paint, I will update my review.

I've gone through a lot of different airbrushes, from the cheap to the not-so-cheap. I don't know that I've ever had a more impressive kit for the price. It's far from high-end, but the extra features (extra cups, 3 different size needles) are so welcome, it's probably the best value per dollar I've seen. It won't do a lot of detail work well... but at priming, base-coating, and OSL stuff, it's an absolute workhorse.

I spent an entire day practicing and could not get consistent light misting coats at <50% trigger pulls using the back of plastic practice spoons. The pattern didn't get good until >50% trigger which doesn't help much for initial thin mist coats. I transferred the same hose/PSI and the same thinned paint to my Iwata Neo and it performed flawlessly. I got a very light mist coat with consistent coverage. This no name kit was impressive in content/price but poor in performance. For a beginner it will just cause aggravation. Beginners need to start with something that's easy to learn and predictable. I'm sure a master at airbrushing could make this airbrush perform better by tweaked paint viscosity, PSI, paint additives and technique. However I suggest beginners start with an entry level airbrush from a quality name brand (ex: Iwata Neo for <$100). In addition, you will not be able to source parts for these no name/throwaway airbrushes. The bottom line is that cheap no name airbrushes are the worst choice for beginners which is contrary to what one might think.

This is a very nice gun especially for this price. My only issue was that it’s meant mor for larger areas rather than very fine lines. I didn’t know that when I bought it and thought I wasn’t doing something correct so I emailed them and was told that this gun indeed is meant for spraying larger areas and I might want the other gun they Then he did something totally unexpected and told me he will send me out their other gun at no charge. Even though I wasn’t looking for a free gun he sent it out anyway. And I was totally sold on this company. This gun shoots like a more expensive gun at a very low cost. Although I still love the feel of the trigger gun, just remember that it’s not made to shoot very fine lines. I will definitely use the trigger gun when I shoot primers and large areas. Get this gun, you won’t be disappointed!

Love the trigger style rather than the toggle I was using. I paint RPG minis and figures, this airbrush is perfect! So easy to use, comes with multiple size cups, I just run water and/alcohol through to clean it.
