I bought this airbrush to use for model building, mainly with Tamiya acrylic paints. I haven’t used it for any detail work yet, but it’s been excellent at providing much more even finishes than brush painting ever could. The additional needle/tip sizes included with the airbrush are a nice bonus. Also of note, this airbrush works with the compressor that comes with the Autolock model METU-30 airbrush. I found out the hard way that Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner was not compatible with the Autolock METU-30 airbrush after the cleaner melted the rubber seals. I think the Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner has some harsh chemicals in it that don’t play well with plastic seals. For that reason I will be sticking with Tamiya acrylic paints in this one, as I know the Tamiya Acrylic Thinner does not cause issues with the rubber seals. All in all, the airbrush here is amazing value and I’m ecstatic it works with my existing Autolock handheld compressor.

I airbrush 3D printed pieces and bought this to add to my gear. The kit comes with everything you need, minus a compressor, to use. It is a dual action airbrush. It sprays well with minimal issues and appears to be good quality.

For the money I’ll say this is the best bang for your buck you can ever get. Had it for more than a year with multiple projects and still running solid. It comes with everything you need:3 different sizes and the thing of all a trigger stop for novices or long spraying sessions. Its awesome.

Decent quality, the hose was handy. The mechanics of the brush itself is not perfect, seems to be out of whack. Although it sprays I have moved on from it to a Iwata and am not sorry.

I purchased this to paint some plastic model kits. I'm new to airbrushes. Slight learning curve to get the air pressure correct and the thinning of some paints correct but didn't take long at all. Sprays Tamiya paints right out of the bottle with no problem. Clean up is easy. The bad. It will clog with thicker paints. Thinners will be required with some paint. Once I got the hang of it I had few issues.

Spent a few hours today trying to get some basic skin done on a 1/6 scale figure, airbrush needle locks up, doesnt reset, sputters, and generally doesnt work consistently. If it doesnt work better tomarrow, im getting another airbrush and returning this one. This is my fourth airbrush, i know how to use an airbrush, it's at fault, not me. I can only assume the "precision nozzle" is why its so inconsistent, im going back to screw on nozzles.
