    • Need a 1/4" rubber gasket for the quick connect!

Works great with my Iwata. Just make sure you order a small 1/4" rubber gasket and maybe some thread tape so that you can more properly seal the quick connect to 1/4" female connector. It leaks without it. Can also pick this up at a local big box hardware store.

    • The quick connect is trash, hose is ok.

I cannot recommend this product based on my experience. The problem is that the quick connect plug fits loosely into my compressor socket resulting in rapid air loss. Consequently the compressor is constantly cycling on. I have a 6-gallon pancake compressor. There is a lot of play when the quick connect plug is in the compressor socket, not a solid fit. I ended buying a quick connect kit from Harbor Freight and ordered a BSP to NPT adaptor, about another $20. This hose, adapter and plug all have BSP threads and the new quick connect has NPT. I'll end up with a new quick connect plug attached to 1/4" NPT female x 1/4" male BSP adapter attached to a 1/4" BSP x 1/8" BSP adapter attached to the hose. I couldn't find a 1/4" NPT x 1/8" BSP male, hence two adapters. I compared the quick connect plug included with this hose against the new plug. The new plug has a little bit of play in the compressor socket but no leak detected. My compressor has two sockets. I may swap one out with the socket included with the kit from Harbor Freight because it has a nice solid fit, but there's no leak so this is unnecessary. I see a previous review stated their quick connect also leaked and suggested trying a 1/4" washer. I'm skeptical of that fix. I'd rather have a properly fitting coupling. I almost gave it two stars because the hose is ok but considering how much time I wasted addressing this problem, it gets one. ... show more
